Hocking above Jones, biased much?

Jones comfortably fits in the top 10

Ryder, says it all really, when it comes to being biased you win hands down.

So the majority of posters on this board, most of which are not Essendon supporters, are biased? He's been rated 4 - 7 by almost all, so that's a foolish thing to say.
I'm happy to concede I could have placed Jones higher. But he's not top 10.

Disagree, Murphy was in extreme form this season until he got injured this year, he'll explode this season

Its not going on the future its on what they have done now and Pendles has been better then Murph and achieved more Murph is a clear 2nd

Do you forget Pendles was fav for the Brownlow until he cracked the bone in his leg

Pendles has undeniably achieved more, which is why most people on this thread have rated him #1. Still, I can see Murphy jumping him later on.

Murphy had the better first couple of seasons as evident through the earlier lists in this thread, pendlebury has equalled him over the last two or three and was brilliant in 2011 and outshone Murphy, the list is who the clubs would take in the draft, so their future still comes into it as you draft a player for their entire career not just first six seasons, Murphy is all class and i expect him to be the better player over the course of his entire career, Murphy and Pendlebury are a clear tier above the rest in the draft though, both are clearly elite

Don't forget the blistering form j ken was in start of this season. Equal to or greater then murph and pendles.

Fair enough, I agree I went over the top with Ryder, 4 - 7 is a realistic rating

Pendles is ahead of murph as much as I hate to admit it. Still believe murph has another half gear to go and could match what pendles has done the last two years.

That being said if pendles can improve overhead he could go up a hear as well.

Swallow is the value pick IMO

I stand corrected. Even though he was taken in 2004, the AFL Record Season Guide refer to it as being the 2005 Pre-season Draft.
Yeah, it is confusing. Used to be the "2005 Pre-season" draft was held just after the "2004 national draft". ie, national draft was the national draft held in 2004, ie post-2004 season; the PSD was named after the year it was held before.

It's stupid, glad it got changed at some point.

This is my favourite part.

Patfull at 25 also very good!

Patfull had quite a good season this year but to me he's had nothing more than a solid career.

This is true, hard done by not being at least in the 40 man AA squad this season, but your right nothing more than a solid career but he should be up closer to 15. Clark should be in the top 10 if not 5 and Jones should be higher as well.

I might have already done one but I'll try it again.
