Is he the guy that played in the u/16 Carnival despite being eligible for this years draft ???

Yep. He and Frawley both played U18s and U16s for NT this year and are both eligible for this draft.

Peoples, whats everyone reckon about kicking this trial run off in about a weeks time ???

If we do this then we will have to guess the order of the draft as the position havent been settled, but it gets 100 names down on a list as a teaser to the real deal in a few months. Im guessing coaches will be holding there picks very close to their chest just like last years trial run......

Patrick Armstrong for Carlton as well, although I haven't seen him play at all, so he wouldn't be in my calculations for the trial run at least. Will see him play over the next few weeks hopefully for Oakleigh.

yeh the discussion points will be unimaginable. all the school posters saying where the *** is this kid and all the TAC posters sayin where the fuks this kid and then u get the SA and WA posters barging in. its gonna be unreal

Well, the idea for the trial run is less about picking the best available players for your team, and filling needs (although that's certainly a consideration), and more about just getting all 16 of us to throw up 5 names each, which gets a big circulation of some likely names.

In the real deal, we'll certainly add F/S picks, as we'll know where they're going to fall, who's been delisted and how many picks each team has - The trial is much less formal though.

Besides, if we make them fair game, it will be a reasonable mark of how highly they're rated, as it will let us know where people rank these guys.

Its all about a trial run and clearly Daniher is in the mix for Essendon.
