i think if he was to get drafted this year he would be a bottom age draftee

i think it is more likely 2008 will be his year

I heard the Jordan did his ACL, thts a 12 month injury isnt it? is he top age? would geelong give another year as an overage to see if he gets drafted?

yes jordan went down injured pretty early in last weeks game, looked pretty bad.

possible late draft pick in 2008 would have to ben crowder
he is a late bloomer in the height division but is creeping towards 6ft 2 and 85 kgs
one of the best kicks in the state and fitness is peaking
definatly worth a watch
his dad was also a gun for frankston vfl
and was goin to get drafted to richmond but did an acl
so BEN CROWDER

Where will Prismall go? I have heard him touted as top 20- but lets be honest, he was elegible for 2006 draft and was overlooked. If he was such a good talent, would at least one club have taken a risk on him.

Same thing happened to Grigg he went #19, but you could say he improved a lot. As i said this seems to happen a lot.

Prismall would have to be top 20 at this early stage. Thought he played a very good game vs SA in the champs last year. Good size about him and looks a natural ball player.

Always happens. Look at riggio. We picked him up at 28 as an under age. Had he gone through, he would have been picked up in the top 10 in the 2006 draft.

IMO he wouldn't have even been close to top 10 in the 2006 draft. I suspect he would have gone about the same mark, but who knows how much improvement he would have shown at that level.

Any one heard of Tommy may. midfielder playing for Callder Cannons

Your right, He wouldnt have gone top 10. but he wouldve gone somewhere between O'Keefe, Grigg and Jetta, around that mark. He improved alot! Was nowhere near selection, but this year looks very very impressive, will play 15+ games and for a "1st year" if you will, its evident its a top 20 effort. good investment by the roo's imo.

did really well in the 05 draft with Riggio and Swallow.

Sorry to say it but I think you guys need a bit of a reality check, Riggio is a tough as nails defender, but Grigga was an AA U18, 189cm versatile and quick with the potential to be a ball magnet in the midfield, has already had a serious case of leather poisoning in his first year at the Bullants. Grigg>>>>>>>Riggio. I stand by 30-40 pick being about right for Riggio (dont get me wrong, I think he could be a handy small defender). Then again i acknowledge that we all see different things as mug draft-punters. Horses for courses.

For starters Riggio is an on-baller, but its a tad difficult for a player of 2 games experience to break into the midfield. Riggio is 188cm's and an alot bigger unit than Shaun Grigg, as they are basically the same age. He will develop into a large bodied midfielder.

Grigg showed in juniors, that although he gets alot of the ball, he butchers it far too often, where as Riggio is one if, if not the best kick at the club.

I have no doubt Riggio would have starred last year if he wasnt taken underage, where Grigg was overlooked.

The VFL midfield for AFL listed players should be a walk in the park, I still remember Riggio ironing out 2 Geelong players in the preliminary final for the Roosters last year in the space of a minute, even though he'd only just turned 18.
