I think we need another fast, skillful midfielder/ball carrier....similar type to Luke Power/S Grant and we should be able to get one with a top 5 pick next year

We drafted a lot of skilled or quick ball carriers this year and with pick nine in the 2004 draft. So we need to get another inside midfielder with an eye to replacing Kouta when he retires next year.

And another ruck with our second pick.

Is Veszpresmi an inside midfielder or a back pocket like Brock O'Brien?

He looks like a tank in the photos on captured.net and a good size to play in the middle.

Alex Rance is the Guildford Grammer Kid right. Went down to a GG v Trinity Game to watch some of my mates and didnt think this kid was anything to suggest hes out of the extrodinary. Watch that Masters Kid (i think is hes name). Seen him Once but is the massive Buzz around the WAFL colts.

Seems this Hamish Hartlett is a gun. He is quite sure from what I've read (176cm 66kg). But he is only 16, I believe.

those stats must b old... he's atleast around the 185cm mark nowadays and, like his brother adam, still has a lot of growing to do... apparently hes taller than adam was at this stage... and as for the 66 kg. that cant b right, he'd b atleast 70kg

your stats are closer to makr but doubt he is 185 already... prob about the same height as adam at this age...

I am quite surprised that no-one here has mentioned Trent Cotchin. He is the best 17 year old prospect since Chris Judd. Similar player to Judd he dominates in the midfield and went forward to blitz late in the TAC Cup season for the Northern Knights. Captained the winning Vic Metro Under 16 side this year and has all the makings of the No. 1 pick in 2007.

Brendan Whitecross (Qld)
Bradley Ebert (SA)
Lachlan Henderson (Geelong)
David Myers (Perth)

In 2008 watch out for Daniel Rich and Tom Swift (WA), Hamish Hartlett (SA) and Aaron Cornelius (Tas). All were dominant in this year's Under 16 Championships.

You're summary is pretty accurate. To see him walk into the Knights side and stand out as a 16 yr old with smarts, super foot skills, marking overhead and kicking goals suggests he's got a fair future ahead of him.
