Carlton clearly have the worst draw again...6 interstate trips including 4 in 6 weeks, i mean you have to be kidding, way too many Sunday games and playing in perth twice.
Yeah it's all a conspiracy to keep you bleeding. We all just love propping you up.

Check out Collingwood's 2006 draw and compare the Sunday/Monday/Tuesday games with Carltons 2007. Keeping in mind Collingwood nearly broke every attendance record.

I'll be interested in your results.

Sydney have it pretty good as well - 6 in melbourne, 11 in Sydney and 2 in Canberra. Very handy.

At the end of last year we had 9,600 members in Victoria, which equates to more than a $1 million of membership money to the club. We ask for a minimum of 6 games in Melbourne (excluding Geelong) but got the 5 in Melbourne and 1 in Geelong.

11 games in Sydney is stock standard.

The 2 games in Canberra are not of our making with both Melbourne & Western Bulldogs requesting Sydney as their opponents due to crowd pulling potential.

If Melbourne & Bulldogs continue to want to play us outside of Victoria then we are only ever going to be able to play once in WA, SA & QLD which is a bonus.

Maybe we should of said no, & would get 2 extra games in Melbourne!

I'm glad I'm not in a position to go to games, because I hate bloody Sunday matches. And what's with all the twilight matches? I have a recollection of the AFL experimenting with those a few years ago and people didn't really like it. It's a crap time for footy I reckon.

Collingwood supporters have no right to complain to the AFL about anything ever again if they're gonna get nice little draws like this one every year. It's ridiculous. I don't care if they're the biggest drawing team.

How can Collingwood continually keep getting armchair rides into finals, it's getting beyond a joke

And to those Eagles supporters complaining...you have 12 home games at the most difficult venue to travel to. Thats an armchair rode...most Melbourne clubs dont even have a home ground.

You could play 22 games at Telstra with the opposition turning up at half time and you would still make the bottom 4.

Im sure hirds last game would have had a HUGE bearing on the minds of the AFL when setting the entire draw for the entire competition.
I agree, but I pose this question to you. If it was to be Nathan Buckley's last game this year, where would Collingwood be scheduled ? hmmmmm

the AFL don't and shouldn't schedule round 22 around 1 player....i was a bit surprised too, to hear hirds potential last game will be at subiaco, but when they said this is the first time the bombers have played interstate in the final round since 1985 you can hardly call it unfair

for the record collingwood has played interstate in the final round on quite a few occasions...from memory 2001 in canberra vs kangaroos, 1995 vs sydney
