how can nobody have the hawks in the 8 ? a midfield consisting of hodge crawford and mitchell with vandenberg n bateman providing support that is very damaging. Buddy franklin will win at least 5 or 6 games by himself and the backline is solid with croad jacobs gilham etc.
I hope they dont but i think Hawthorn will be the big movers this year

How can everyone have Collingwood not in the premiers position. With Martin Clarke making Judd look like Adam Iacobucci on a bad day...

Now if I were just to list teams in order of my opinion of them, it would look like this

W.Bulldogs
Fremantle
West Coast
Geelong
StKilda
Sydney
Hawthorn
Richmond

Melbourne
Collingwood
Essendon
Port Adelaide
Adelaide
Carlton
Brisbane
Kangaroos

... but I decided to do it game by game, and ended up with...

St Kilda
Geelong
Fremantle
West Coast
W.Bulldogs
Sydney
Melbourne
Hawthorn

Richmond
Collingwood
Adelaide
Port Adelaide
Brisbane
Essendon
Carlton
Kangaroos

so Ill go with the 2nd ladder as my official prediction, after 2 rounds of NAB Cup matches

12. Hawthorn - They will improve on 2006 but still way off with a lot of young bodies in their side which haven't developed
Even if we do improve, IMO dropping a spot on the ladder isn't good enough - considering the improvement over the past 2 years.

How can Anyone not have collingwood in thier bottom 8?
Bucks is the only thing keeping them where they are and he's too old.
When Bucks goes Collingwood will have a similar run to what carlton have just experinced, wooden spoon.:thumbsu: :p

I have seen many people are predicting Shaun Higgins may be rising star this year. After seeing him play on a few occasions I would definitely agree that he is set to have a huge year with the rising dogs. However is he able to win the award? I am unsure of the ruling behind it. Also have seen many think pendlebury a chance.

Mine isnt indexed so I'll just do it again

St. Kilda: Its their time, so hopefully injury free
West Coast: Will be thereabouts again
Fremantle: Still learning finals footy
Western Bulldogs: Same as Freo
Geelong: Cant be as bad as 2006
Sydney: May slide somewhat
Adelaide: Ageing with no ruckmen
Melbourne: Will still win their fair share of games
------------
Hawthorn: Nearly there, finals 2008
Essendon: Will improve this year, youngsters to impress
Port Adelaide: Still rebuilding
Brisbane: In the rebuilding phase
Collingwood: Will miss Tarrant more than they realise
Richmond: No real threat
Carlton: Will win more games than 2006
Kangaroos: No real superstars, need to rebuild

Premier: St.Kilda
Runner up: West Coast
Brownlow: Daniel Kerr / Nick Dal Santo
Coleman: Brendon Fevola
Rising Star: Joel Selwood / Shaun Higgins
