LATEST ON THE JUDD DEAL
Carlton are looking for a 3rd party to help them with the Chris Judd Deal. The following players have asked to leave the Carlton Football Club and persue their AFL careers elsewhere. Carlton, although hesitant, will be willing to release these players in exchange for a proven KP player, back or forward, or a top 20pick...
The players include:
Adam Bentick - the AFL's 4rd leading tackler in 2007, a young in and under hard nut with polished ball skills. Would suit any side looking for a bit of grunt and a player to supply silky outside midfielders
Ryan Houlihan - a silky finisher who will hit any forward lace out if given a yard of pace. Had a career best year in 2007 and still has a lot of footy left in him
Jordan Russell - Drafted at number 7 in the 2005 stella draft, Jordan began making an impact in the senior team last in 2007. The pacey midfielder/half back looks to be maturing and would be a great assest to teams lacking pace. Was as U18 All Australin Half back.
Adam Hartlett - Drafted in the low 20's, Adam has had an interupted AFL career to date. Injured thoughout 2006 and returning in 2007, he played his best game against Fremantle snagging 3 goals and taking 8 marks. He is a thumping kick and a player capable of playing in defence or up forward. Was an All Australian U18 CHF.
