Myers is more of a midfielder than a "pure" backman, and in no way is he a KPP.
I think Myers will be a similar player to Goddard after he hit Lloyd lace out with that bullet pass against Carlton on the run.
Hes a half back flanker/winger. He stands at 194 or 191 i think and would be capable of taking those tall mids or 3rd tall forwards.

He wouldve been drafted as a half backmen.

Hurley or Hartlett we should get one of them and Hurley will improve our team more but i really want an A grade midfielder at the club. Stanton is good but he cant brake tags and he gets number 1 tag each week. Hartlett in 3 years time would free him up.
Essendon will finish well and finish above Carlton, so Ziebell might be Essendon's best shot at getting a quality midfielder in this draft.

That's if this thread is anything like the real thing.

LOL.

Could Hurley be there if the Blues have pick six?

The Port game might be the only win Carlton have left.

Essendon play Richmond, Melbourne, Adelaide and WCE, so they will finish strongly now that their forwardline is back together.

Round 22 against the Saints might decide the eight.

Carlton will have pick six or seven because Richmond has winnable games against WCE tomorrow, plus Melbourne and Fremantle at the G.

essendons future side:

J.Nash - Hurley - T.Pears
Houli - Ryder - C.Dempsey
Reimers - J.Watson - Myers
Monfries - Gumbleton - Lovett
A.Davey - Neagle - Jetta

Hille - Winderlich - Stanton

Laycock/Warnock , Prismall/A.Thomson or our 2nd round mid in 08 draft, Lonergan, Daniher

If the bombers wanted a midfielder we woudlve taken Palmer. We needed tall running half backs that could be versatile to replace Hird, Fletcher, M.Michael. (case closed)

An A grade midfielder is a classy mid none of those bombers look like class. Winderlich, Reimers and Stanton are the only ones with real class in the mids but yet to show it.

How old is Andrew Welsh? Can't help but be impressed with this guys performances in the midfield.

He loves the hard ball, is not a snail & skills seem OK.

I'd be creating a spot for him in the 22.
