That's what I mean by underrated. The level on expectation on him is nothing short of massive.

I think the credits in the bank are why he has been cut some slack for a poor finals series. If the good players make their reputations in finals then Brad missed an opportunity. He is a better player than that and i hope age has not caught up with him just yet.

Murph and hahn can not use the same excuse for poor finals series.

I was relating my comments more towards the 22 home and away games. But obviously his finals series wasn't up to par, a lot like the other players you have mentioned.

But, these guys play up the ground where supply has a huge impact on how they perform, and for the most part two of the three finals they all performed below par with supply being a contributing factor. The Hawthorn game was a debacle and these players probably weren't proactive enough in the way they presented to the ball as well. They all did there bit against the Swans, where Johnson in particular showed a fair bit of ticker after copping a couple of heavy knocks.

By and by, Murphy took a career high of 16 marks against the Cats so was certainly in that game, however his disposal let him down but both Mitch and Johnno were a bit disappointing.
