I would like to have some sort of leadership role or recruting role. I could get alot of my mates to play I think. And I think Kerrby should be Captain, seems like he will be around for a while and he wont rack off. Could i get a role around the club you think?

If I get captaincy then I will have a leadership group.

So far people that would get it that have been around for a while:

BLueFAn I would make you and Matera incharge of recruiting, if you wanted that position.

WONDERS' PRODIGAL SON RETURNS

The flagging hopes of the troubled West Coast Wonders have been revived with the shock re-appearance of gun defender FiveStrings.

The key backman, who was a revelation at fullback in his debut season last season, surprised his teammates by turning up at a recent training session after having been presumed dead by team management.

FiveStrings fell off a cliff at the Mornington Peninsula during the team's end of season celebrations and was believed to have drowned.

However, he revealed at a packed press conference that he had in fact washed up on the shores of Tasmania. After initially suffering from amnesia, FiveStrings eventually was reminded of his previous life as a star footballer when reading a story on his disappearance in the local paper, and immediately high-tailed it to Perth to rejoin his teammates.

"It was a shock, but as soon as my memories started coming back I just knew I had to be back with the fellas, as well as my wife Madge and my good friend Lou Carpenter", he said.

FiveStrings rejoins a Wonders team in turmoil with the entire leadership group apparently falling off a cliff themselves, and the team currently without a captain. However, he was confident the situation would shortly right itself, although he denied he would be seeking a leadership role at the club.

"I'm just happy to be back, I'll be getting behind whoever is named captain and I'll be putting in the hard yards at training and hoping to win a spot in the side in the near future", he stated.

Bookmakers reacted to the news by slashing the Wonders' premiership odds.

I'm not going back there. I've seen things. Things I can't even put into words:eek:

To be honest I forgot about this board, I wasn't really expecting the season to start until this year sometime. Anyway I'm back now and hoping to make a contribution.

Well we're 6/8 and lost last week by around 17 points. This week we play the undefeated team, but we can still pull off an upset.

Still in touch with the 4 though, i see.

We're going to be a Cinderella story, I can feel it.

Cool, I've been training on my own for a while so I'm match fit already. I just hope I don't do a hammy just before the game :(;)

Sorry to whoever got dropped for me. I'll buy you a drink to make up for it.

Play FS at FB or CHB. Reward him with a Key Back Possy.

You should be trying to cut as much of your list as possible in the delisting/trade period, trading for a few posters, and picking up as many players as possible.

That's BlueFan4's job :thumbsu:.

Yeah I think TFLUA is right, i'll put you in on the CHB line.

I have strong connections to a star player in the league. Won't metion names but i will try my best to lure him down to the club.

And i think Fivestrings should get a key position role. Might aswel put him somewhere good for an inactive player.

1 more question, how do you check whos inactive and whos not? Alot of delising to do.
