2009 AIS-AFL umpiring

i went to an umpiring recognition function the other day and it was mentioned that next year the afl is starting an ais-afl umpiring program. sounded like an interesting idea to me

i think umpiring hasnt been that bad to be honest.....

there were a coule of AIS umpires in the past couple of years, they have umpired in the games versus Ireland and last year went on the trip with the footballers to South Africa.

They weren't AIS umpires - they were umpires who just went with the AIS U/17 team.

Local leagues, how much do umpires get paid?

for aflbj in qld u14s is 30 bucks, and 40 for 16s
not sure after that
