Fully committed....only wish you were.
But as you know, two teams will not make a competition especially after the joke comp last year with 2 team from 1 club. Hopefully the other clubs can commit quickly and get it all going.
Make sure you pull your head out of the sand so you can be kept informed.
Chelsea Heights are near certainties to have a side, and Mordi from last reports had a side lined up too.
North in 2008 clubs were not charged affiliation nor fees for umps asnd whilst only 4 teams were legitimate colts teams it got things going and gave hope to the Skyes, Chelsea's Mordialloc's Dingleys that the League were fair dinkum. Maybe you should stop being so negative and see that the League from our experience do sincerely care and are trying to assist with clubs' long term survival. If you know so much then maybe you can join our club and come along to the Meeting at Oakleigh Districts on Feb 10 of all clubs that will be fielding a team. Im tipping you won't be there because you are a fence sitting negative parasite.

Heatherton have entered a side in the Colts fixture..but more than likely looking doubtful. Only have about 6-7 kids so still need another 10 or so. If any kids are out there that don't think they will get a game for their club come down. We need the numbers otherwise theres a club out of the competition which we dont want.....the more the better!

We train out younger players (u/20) down at the vampires by taking them on a nite out on the booze!

was lucky enough to catch the last half of the beena vs hadfield on the weekend, and the beena looked quite good. The tall sudanise fella was back and he looked ok but the most promising was number 8 who dominated and then proceded to dominate in the seniors! word is from the beena camp that a colts player will play ones every week to give them exposure in the big time which i believe is a great initiative.

as coming to the end of the year its st kilda city looking comfortable on top with no loses, with skye and dingley sitting 2nd and 3rd with st pauls sitting a game and half behind in 4th and still a chance for 3rd, with murrumbeena finishing the top 5 and look to maintain final spot with hampton pushing aswell for a finals berth.

It's City's to lose. Skye will be the main threat but apart from that they're just too good.
Their FF Declan is out for the Season with a broken wrist, but while it's a big loss, they have enough depth and quality to get it done. They're a quality outfit with a superb midfield.
They'll win it all, but Skye are the only threat.

Its dumb policy to give a colt a game every week without earning his spot
I would think guys on the fringe of selection would be better served as they will be the players running out in the finals.
The best way to blood kids is when you dont have a chance to play finals footy.

I think it's a great idea. Especially if they're good enough to play, ala last weekend there were at least 4-5 Colts playing in the Reserves, and 2 more Colts playing in the 1's. One kicked 2 goals and was in the Top 10 players, the other was also serviceable.

i dont rate skye that highly, i do agree it is there for st kilda city to win. but wouldnt count out any of the other finals contenders. st pauls had 16 (and finished with 15 in the end) the day we played skye and took it up to them for 3 quarters, only lost in the last quarter when we ran out of legs 7 goals to 1.
st pauls have got skye in a few weeks now and as a player im looking forward to having a second crack at them and hoping to take the 3rd spot from dingley with a win and continue winning in the last couple of rounds.
whats the rule for finals with colts?? i know dingley have bartholomew, ford, farrugia, clausen, and young bomber all playing ones atm so can they play in the finals for the colts?? are they allowed to play finals with them??

You just need to have played 6 Club games at any level to play Finals.
