Re: Media Thread

Brian Taylor is simply not a credible source. He makes things up and passes them off as if they were a real possibility. The problem he has is his "hit" rate is worse than that of any (other) charlatain soothsayer.

Re: Media Thread

I completely agree, Luke Ball would be one of the last players i'd expect to crack the shits and threaten to leave because he's not getting a game. I think BT is doing a bit of shit stirring..

Re: Media Thread

RL on Ball:

"It’s not about possessions, if you have 30 possessions the ball is in your hands for about two minutes so there’s another 100 minutes you’ve got to be working for the team," he said.

I think we can see why he's been dropped.

Im surprised I thought he would be one of the best in the team doing the team things. Evidently not...

Overstatement of the century.

Lol that quote is taken so far out of context.

AAP July 29, 2009 05:29pm

---

"I think if you put Karmichael up in the forwards line, you tell him not even to get the ball, just to run around and tackle blokes, because he would certainly hurt some people," Hunt said.

Saints give Crows blueprint for Power slam
By Steve Rice

The ability to apply similar high-pressure tactics as the Saints inflicted on them the week before was what enabled the Crows to overrun their opponents.

Re: Media Thread

Wasn't able to stick around long, but Bally was running around fine.

Did see Ross, didn't overhear any secret plans or moves or anything though.

Pretty sure Leigh Fisher and Raph Clarke were missing too

Re: Media Thread

I'm pretty sure Fish got injured in the VFL a couple weeks back... hammy maybe? can't quite remember

cheers for the updates though mate

Re: Media Thread

Spot the three errors in this article: (Hopefully the first one is the editors fault, not Schnadzo's!

"All the way from Jack Stevens playing his first game to Max Hudghton, everyone just did their bit," he said.

"You have quality players out but it didn’t worry us. We had our jobs to come down here and do and processes in place and we did it all today."

Fellow small forward Steven Milne also weighed in with three goals for the match and along with Schneider ensured the Saints weren’t made to rue the loss of superstars like skipper Nick Riewoldt and big ball-winners Nick Dal Santo, Leigh Montagna and Brendan Goddard during the week.
