How about Mills to Milwaukee and they get rid of Sessions :thumbsu:

Edit: totally beaten!

As an aside, did anyone hear JVG and co. rip into Sasha Vujacic right at the start of the draft?
That was an awesome pwning.

I cant quite remember the context, but it was something along the lines of Stuart Scott saying "player X is untradeable unless the Lakers off Kobe Bryant and Sasha Vujacic because, you know, Sasha is a straight up balla" (I cant remember this, but it was Scott so probably pretty acurate

then cue laughter from panel.

Sasha is a giant pinata.

And i expect to see Simmons pick on that fawning idiot Mark Jones in his draft diary. It's as if Jones sifts through the most pointless personal facts to round out his interviews in the hope that people will do the "hmmm...wow...he liked JJ from Good Times? I like JJ from good times. We have a keeper here".

Oh the funniest thing?

Mark Jones: "Ricky, how did you feel seeing one of your fellow Spaniards being drafted when Pau Gasol was drafted in 2000"

Ricky Rubio: "Well, I was only 10 so I had no idea"

the most awkward half second pause ever followed

11:07 PM: RUMOR: Chad Ford reports that the Amare Stoudemire to Golden State discussions are dead.

Chad Ford: Just talked to a source inside the Warriors who said that an Amare Stoudemire deal with the Phoenix Suns was "way off, if it ever happens. It's nowhere close to being done."

Suns sources have said the same thing. While the two teams could continue to hammer it out, the Warriors say that they are keeping their No. 7 pick, Stephen Curry. Sorry Knicks fans.

:(((((

Do'h! I had my hopes up.

Ricky Rubio's father gave an interview after the draft stating that his son is now likely to stay in Europe for one or two years, rather than signing in Minnesota.

Yahoo! reports that a trade between the Knicks and Wolves to send Rubio to New York is likely. But later reports suggest that the Wolves are so far stating that they'll retain their rights to the Spanish point guard.

why be sorry? I never wanted Curry from the start, he can shoot but he cant defend. Sounds like he was always destined to be a Warrior ;)

Rubios stated before the draft that he'd need a high pick to get a salary that comes close to buying out his contract

Will all depend on how well his buy-out negotiations go.

Nick Calathes at 45.

Coz we need a PG.

From memory the buyout was negotiated down from $6m to $4m and is allow to be spaced over two years. The Wolves are allowed to contribute 500k of that, but can't assist in any other manner.

At this point the Wolves are hanging tough.
