I'm sure there was reason behind that picking up in reverse order then trade, but ****ed if I know it

It may be a lux tax issue for Dallas, but for that amount I doubt it.

Mills will go 2nd round, this shouldn't be too surprising.

but WTF is up with OKC and Dallas, what was the point of that, other than OKC paying a slightly lager salary to Mullins.

Hold on to Runio Minny.

Can anyone explain to me what the go is with cash considerations? Isn't there a salary cap in the NBA? Where exactly does the cash that teams receive in trades go?

P.S - Anyone else sick of Mark Jackson saying "He's a big-time player", "He's a big time scorer" etc etc?

Oh look everybody, it's Minnesota Point Guard draft time again!

Oh, no. Well get a PF. We only have 6 of those.

I'm hoping Sam Young here.

Dissapointing for Mills that he is in a draft with such deep depth at the point

Considering the time he missed with his broken hand, and the PG depth in this draft, IMO he should have stayed at St. Mary's another year. That being said, I never saw him as a lock for the first round anyway.

So far as I know its just cash to balance out the assets in a trade where a player/pick would be too much to throw in.

Wolves pick Ellington to play SG. I actually think it's a great pick, as they need a pure SG, but surely they've gotta trade one of their PGs now for an F or C.

Ellington is probably the best shooter in the class, he'll be a useful piece when they are only playing one PG at a time.

Wolves select Wayne Ellington... another ****in guard.

He's a 2 guard rather than a point, so we need help there without Foye on board. I'm fine with it.

I'd like to see us roll that Denver pick (which is actually Charlotte's) with some expiring for Gerald Wallace.
