Wat do people think of Masten to Hadley?
Even though i thought Masten looked pretty good this week i think that hadley looks way better and more like a keeper.

Did you pick masten as a keeper? Did you think at the start of the season that he would average 90-93+? If so, then back him, if not, then give him more time to prove himself and produce what you did expect - he scored very well on the weekend, and this would just be a wasted trade IMO.

Wait for mastens price to rise, then you can use that trade to get a fallen premium much more likely of being a keeper.

Anyone else eyeing off Cooney as a round 6-8 upgrade? Pretty non-existant preseason and being eased back in TOG wise but with some match fitness will surely be back to his best in a few weeks.

wouldnt be that bad of a move...but it depends what midfield keepers you have atm....like i have only 2 upgrades in the midfield and dont have one of the ABCs so ill look to get them first

any hawthorns want to give me some info on jordan lewis...im looking tot go knights --->lewis...i would need him to be a keeper and he is a risk but he has shown to be a very good dt scorer

If he plays, he needs to score 55 just to stay at the same price.

If he doesnt, he will stay until he does play his 3rd game

So is there a formula they use to tell how much a player's value will change
or what they have to average to stay the same

It is consensus that a players price is calculated by:

0.75 x Old Price + 0.25 x New Price

New price is calculated as their rolling average over last 3 rounds played, times by the magic number.

So take goddard.

Suppose he is priced at 400k, and he scores 100 for the first 3 rounds, and the MN is 4300.

400,000 (price) x 0.75 + 0.25 x (100 (rolling ave) x 4300 (MN at that point)) = 407500

Thats all hypothetical remember.

Make sense?

Note: The magic number changes though, generally getting smaller (decreasing) by about 10% throughout the year. It is for this reason that a player who maintains their average (say swan), still drops in price throughout the year.

I think this is how he sees your post:

I have Butler, Beams and Anthony as my last three mids (two bench).

I am looking to offload Butler as i dont like his chances at coming back in, and is potential at scoring.

Heath Hocking is a very sideways trade but is averaging above 100, looks like his spot is fairly cemented in the side and looks like he can find the ball.

Would anyone pull the trigger on this trade? Or would it be wiser to wait a week, play Beams and downgrade Butler to Zaharkis, and eventually upgrade Beams/Zaha and use that money i gained in the trade elsewhere

If one does not see Hocking as a potential keeper is it unwise to trade him in and not recieve cash, even if he has short term upside? Is it wasting a half trade.

Cheers for any thoughts.

anyone had a look at Scott Mcmahon from the Roos? Couple of high scores now, but I'm not sure what type of role he's playing? Any info on him would be great:)

(checked the roos board, couldn't find anything)

He'll be back. And what, based on one game where he was under done? He has plenty of scoring potential.

That's a no from me.

I have to agree.

McMahon is the type of player that you would be extremely happy with at the moment if you had him from the start.

You either trade up to a keeper/premium, or down to a cash cow. McMahon is neither - he isn't good enough to be a keeper, and he's probably too expensive to be a cash cow.

How do people see Haselby's scoring potential compared to Otten.

Thinking of downgrading Hasleby to Otten (I have Rich, Robinson, Beams from the start) so I can get Houlihan in the backline for Hill.

Backline
4th Shaw
5th Hayden
6th Suban
7th Cheney
R Raines (keeping him)
E Hill

Midfield
5th Haselby
6th Rich
R Beams
E Robinson

I feel I need backline security, at if Otten can average 70ppg ill be happy to downgrade Haselby.

Im still puzzled as to what role Harding ia playing for North.

Is it lose man in defence (thought McMahon was doing this) or link up man or what!

Need answers..
