Correct.

Almost as bad as the Bulldogs odds.

The thing is we deserved our top four spot and the saints didn't. They finished 4th after every other team choked. They are more like a 7th-8th placed team.

We beat them easily this year twice and will do the same for the next few years as there midfield is weak.:thumbsu:

These odds are from sportingbet.com.au

Geelong 3.25

Hawthorn 3.25

Western Bulldogs 9.00

St Kilda 15.00

Carlton 17.00

Collingwood 17.00

Adelaide 21.00

Brisbane 21.00

Fremantle 26.00

North Melbourne 26.00

Sydney 26.00

Port Adelaide 31.00

Richmond 34.00

Essendon 51.00

West Coast 67.00

Melbourne 101.00

lol freo and port better odds than us. We should be on par with the Lions and Blues and so should Sydney and North :thumbsu:

agree that if carlton got kerr their odds for premiership would rise

Kerr would certainly boost their midfield, but won't make them any better chance to win a flag.

You've got a pretty bloody good midfield now, but your forward line is pretty one dimensional and your backline leaks goals like almost no other.

Some huge unders on those lists, I mean 50/1 Melbourne FFS, they've left off a zero or two. Carlton is also wayyyyy unders. Seriously 50/1 chances at best.

Every team bar the top 2 is way way under.

They should all be at least $51

Completely agree, i wouldnt even put money on bombers if they were 500-1, the other teams are not in a position to challenge for the flag. it simply wont happen. Only teams that could be a smokey is Brisbane and Carlton

I agree with that on Essendon's odds. No chance next year.

Brisbane maybe but Carlton also no chance.

Brisbane have a decent spine and a very good top end with Merrett, Patfull, Black, Brown and Bradshaw.

Then others like Travis, Brennan, Drummond, Adcock who are quite good (especially adcock and drummond when not injured). I really think a good crumber would help them as hooper doesn't seem up to it and their depth players need to gain consistency. Also Charman needs to get back to his best.

Brisbane fans could correct me as I haven't seen that much of them this year.

Carlton though just don't have a CHF or any forwardline depth. They had a decent run with injury and only came 11th and alot of their wins were close. Rucks won't improve that much and shocking depth. (Wiggins, Bannister). I can see their backline improving even further next year with Bower and Jamison improving alot which may free up Waite to CHF but he will get beaten by most CHBs I imagine.

Good chance of top 8, outside chance of top 4, no chance of a premiership.

What's the chances of one team picking up Cousins and Kerr? That might bump that team up the ladder.
Collingwood will definitely rise from equal fourth to third favourites if Cousins goes there.
Stkilda 3rd favourite, what a joke.
That's only because they were a lucky Preliminary Finalist this season. Other betting agencies don't have them there, and I think 7th-9th is more accurate now that they can no longer use "do it for Harvs" as motivation.

i think the books like to put freo and saints up there in the top few cos you can never pick when they will come. dont forget a few yrs back freo were hot, and saints are capable. they probably dont want to have any one lay them at $30-40

$14.00. Nice to think the Bookies think of us so highly. We were $14 at the start of 2005 after the Wizard Cup win and finished last. The year before we finished 11th with 10 wins..................uh oh!!!............lol !!!

Port and Brisbane are at good odds if you want to look at a roughy from outside the 8. Hard to go past Hawthorn and Geelong tho, they were that far out in front this year it would take a pretty big effort to head either one of them.

Carlton's odds are way, way too short

IMO they're a few key injuries away from a bottom four spot
