Once he uses his picks, he's only saved 300k ish for a net loss of around 200 dream team points worth a class a week. I don't get that trade either. And if it's all about salary space, why wouldn't you shop all those around individually? Bunching Mundy, Jordan Lewis and Judd together as a group is insane and cheapens their individual value. If I had a Judd, I'd shop him around to every coach there was, and would be baffled if I couldn't get top ten pick (see salary relief) and a young class act in return. Lewis is underatted. There's more than one Hawk supporter playing this game so there's a fair chance you'd get something nice back again from him, and then Mundy!

With the trade deadline fast approaching, personally i'm a bit worried about the lack of activity atm. Broncos are majorly over the cap and Adelaide still a fair bit over. Wagga and Victoria are the big players with cap space but neither seem to be responding to any trade suggestions from me personally......

My sentiments exactly. Is anyone in contact with Rizzo? We were ready to rock and roll tradewise a fortnight ago and then he disappeared. I also need to find out whether he's still in on the AFLFF game.
We've still got 400k to spare in case anyone was interested in improving my draft possy. We're taking about 8 in the draft at the minute so improving picks is a priority.

I just read the rules thread (opening post which took me about 25 minutes), but I didn't see anything specifically related to this? What exactly are the dealings with?

Basically if you're over the list size, you get players delisted in some order (last year it was reverse alphabetical by surname). If you're over the cap then the cheapest player on a salary $63,000 (draft pick price) more than how far over the cap you are gets put up for auction. Highest pick is traded for that player.

I have PMed rizzo and BlackByrd. If I don't hear back by the time I get home on Thursday (which will be mid-afternoon) I'll take over those two sides as well (but I'll be managing them as if they were my sides, not just taking any expensive crap that people want to get rid of)
