I didn't say he's playing well. But he's hanging in there. I've seen so many people go down a set and a break to Federer and just give up. This guy is making him fight for every point, and is hitting cold winners to save championship points.

That's pretty special. Even if he loses this tiebreaker I've gained a fair bit of respect for Murray out of this match.

Chance for the Grand Slam now, will make the semis in each at least barring injury.

Murray was good in that 3rd set, fought it out.

Good final, pity it didn't go into 4 or 5 sets, although Murray looked buggered.

I know what you mean but I have a problem with the way Murray was playing up a knee injury earlier, basically giving himself an excuse for the loss, yet the way he chased that drop shot before and got the ball in.. well if he really did have a bad knee injury he wouldn't have got there.

Anyway good to see Federer finally win and put the poms out of their misery.
