Oh, and Carsten Ball, Lindahl and Matosevic are in qualifying for Delray Beach. Ball overturned a pretty poor record against DeHeart to win 7-5, 6-3, and Marinko got smashed by Lindahl 6-2, 6-1. He plays Capdeville next.
 
Llodra has had a good week but I think Benneteau has hit some form, I'll tip him for the win but who knows they are both frenchies

Ferrer should win, he seems to be playing decent, and 9 wins in a row must be getting to ferrero.

Querrery in Memphis should be too good, just a better player than Isner.
 
Pete's just lost the plot a bit, disappointing, the scoreline is embarrassing really. Hopefully he be ready to go in Melbourne in a couple of weeks.

Lindhal also lost first round today against F.Mayer 6-4, 6-1 in Delray Beach.

how consistent is djokovic? watching his score at the moment against troicki and he is down 5-3 first set, not playing at his rank and from what i have seen he rarely does, can anyone else agree or do i just take notice at the wrong times?

* he just lost 1st set 6-3

yeah, tennis is all over the place right now, i think the ranks will have a huge shift by the end of the year.
 
Probably at the wrong times IMO.

Novak's problem really hasn't been in the 250-1000 level, it has been in Slams. Last year he played a huge amount of matches and was pretty consistent throughout.
 
Watched a bit of Djoko's match tonight, man that guy just has some problems with his mental game, he can be all over the place, he would be happy he was playing a guy like Triocki
 
Speaking of bad mental games, Gasquet just lost to Almagro after leading 4-0 in the third. :rolleyes:

8th seed Montanes is also out of Acapulco.

In Dubai for the final tomorrow.
Dont be surprised if Youzhny beats Djokovic.
Pretty sure Youzhny has the wood over him in recent outings.

BTW Ferrero has been amazing in the past 3 tournaments now
 
Djokovic sneaking through again, think he might get youzhny this time, we'll see what happens.

Karlovic beat Blake in delray with nieminen and gulbis getting through.

Well I had my hopes:(
He was a set and a break up early in the second but couldn't finish Djokovic. He had 11 break points in the second set and only converted one. That is the difference between him being where he is atm and becoming a top 10 player.

Embarrassing from Gonzo... very inconsistant.

Yeah, Ferrero fell away in the third, actually looked like he was making some sort of comeback the way he played in the 2nd.

Gulbis plays Karlovic in the final of Delray, Karlovic made Fish look like an amateur.

Djoko is a set up in his match when rain started.
