MVP: Goddard, over Ablett (brief dip in scoring) and Swan (only got him in partway through the season).
Best Defender: Goddard.
Best Midfielder: Swan.
Best Ruckman: Sandilands, it has to be.
Best Forward: Chapman. Unfortunately I didn't have him... was only $500 short when Riewoldt went now and didn't bother trying for the rest of the year.
Coaches Award: Waite. I needed someone cheap to hit 100 regularly and he hit the spot after I brought him in.
Best First Year Player: Barlow. Almost forgotten after Pods kept his scoring up, and Rockliff's finish to the season (although he's technically a second year), but a first year able to directly swap for Judd after his injury... just wow.
Most Improved: Chapman, for his durability.
Best Return from Injury: Cooney was good, but Malceski wins hands down.

Missed opportunity of the year: Not having Malceski in my starting line-up, but I still managed to get him in for $446k. I'd say Lake. I was looking at him just before his successive 170s and passed.
Best trade of the year: Vince to Swan. Underperformer out, massive overperformer in for the cheapest price he was all year.
Worst trade of the year: Hall ($377.5k) to Higgins ($464.4k) after Round 7, same as everyone else. Scored over 100 once for the rest of the year, missed six games and averaged 64 in the games he did play. Hall scored over 100 six times for the rest of the year, missed one game and averaged 88. I'd forgotten how shit that trade was too. The only trade that I could say sucked for the whole year as well.
