Yeah i swapped Ablett out for Selwood, i didn't feel he was going to get 140's anyway. Selwood's going to be my perma captain from now on though.I didn't get Ablett, I felt I could get good value from Selwood.
Worked for me last rd. Plus his last game vs Hawthorn was 185 - I can only hope

Anyone thinking a Pies player V Dees.....you might need to think again.
Melbourne coach Dean Bailey says expect a much more competitive showing against Collingwood on Saturday night at the MCG.
He said tackling, chasing and pressuring the opposition would be the main focuses this week.

Selwood usually plays well against my mob so captaincy this week has its merrits. I would, however, advise caution when considering him as perma captain. He is a very volatile player scoring wise, and while he will end up with a very respectable average, he will hit the high end of the 100's (180+'s) but will also drop below the 100 mark more often than perhaps a gaz or swan so be prepared to ride the bumps.

Guess I could go with GAJ, but also considering Roo, H.Shaw and Dal Santo. GAJ put up some big scores against the Hawks last year so i think i'll stick with him.

So in saying that I think I'm going 2 take a punt and make Pendles Captain this week......after all his score of 91 last week was reasonable considering he was tagged!!

I'm strongly considering Ablett and will most likely choose him but I may go with one of Higgins or Hall. Higgins scored 124 against Richmond last year and this year they are alot worse. Our 5 top possession winners are either retired, injured or not playing so it makes sense to choose either of Higgins or Hall if I choose a non-Ablett captain.

I still remember when I lived on the wild side and chose Heath over Ablett in 2008.
Ablett went on to score a mind boggling 254 points against the Swans with Heath scoring 17.
The next week I decided I better make Ablett captain, to only have him man handled by Freo on the way to a 68 with Heath busting out a 130+
Good times.
But seriously, picking Ablett each week is no fun
