I have Swan as Captain and Ablett as Vice, really wishing I chose Brown of course but at least I have Brown to begin with.

as soon as I get cash reserves, from Trengove and Banner, D Swan is coming in for a Captain rotation with Marc Murphy.

For the cost of Ablett, I reckon Brown, Murphy and a few others will score just as well.

I was thinking a big risk this week for captain could have been Bazza, but played it safe with Marc Murphy. I reckon he's on the money this year.

I'd also be considering Riewoldt, if the guy gets Five he gets 150

No Gablett in my team - so I took the gamble and went with Barry Hall. Could score me 20 - or could score me 200...

Will just have to wait and see

I enjoy not having Gablett - it means I actually get to make a decision each week picking a captain

I have Super Swan as captain over Ablett who I also have.

I blame Impromptu if it all goes horribly wrong cause he is my inspiration in trying to be smart and pick a player you have in your team that can beat Ablett

They are saying on DT board that Super Swan could be out. If so then the Volt is my vice captain who I also seeing scoring well.

I can't believe I have totally overlooked Ablett for captain this week.

Having said that though I like to trade dangerously and also like to live on the picking different captain wild side from time to time even though I have Ablett. ROFL!

BTW - I'm annoyed at myself as I was going to pick J.Brown all week but heard on the news about the weather then thought Roo at Elihad will surely run riot.. why did I try to be too fancy and overthink things and check the weather!!

I didn't think it was a hard choice with choosing JB. Jamison came off 4 times last week with a injured shoulder and with Bower out Thornton was always going to be in huge trouble..Now as long as Yablett doesn't score more it will be fine, but i will take the 172 early any day.

If Roo scoress 125+ I'll be okay with my decision....

I'll take it as a learning experience...LOL...the lesson is to trust your instinct...Also need Newman to get 70+ as seriously was considering starting Macguire before Newman but didn't want 'egg on my face'...the egg is now on my face...LOL...and doesn't make sense to start 100k player before 500k player...oh well...

BTW - I don't have Ablett

Anyone going to jump on the Banfield bandwagon with me (which I'm already on)? He scores back to back 50s, but watching him, he really looks all class

Not looking good at half-time but that big tank will surely come into play in the 2nd half and get him up near 100 if not over. Glad I'm not counting on that though the way he's going.

Bound to be a few people who traded into him and made him captain based on last week's score and playing Melbourne...ouch.

Be interesting if he does play in the forward line...a few goals and lots of effective possessions across half forward (as opposed to his dinky midfield handball possessions) could hopefully translate into one of those freakish Ablett scores...he's due to put a stamp on 2010.

Argh I had Selwood as captain and Cooney as vice. Can't see Selwood getting 169, but if he does, it'll probably mean the Hawks got smashed .
