Guy I'm playing has Swan, Goddard, Roo & Ablett. He took the Ablett as captain.

Round 22 Captain Thread
Tough choice this week. Saints play Crows at AAMI in a big match before a sellout crowd. So maybe not Goddard? Cats against soft opposition at home, maybe time to give GAJ another go? I'm leaning towards GAJ or Selwood.

Have to agree with you there, i was also thinking maybe Enright as a smokey this week. Will probably end up with Ablett as captain though.

Neither of my opponents have Ablett but I have a zero in my forward line, so I'm going to roll the dice and hope he has a blinder and Goddard a shocker (since I assume that'll be their back-up).

I don't have him in my side (yet) but given it's his last game for the year and last chance for mark of the year Jack Riewoldt will be going all out for the coleman etc against the lowly port under the roof.
I do however have GAJ and I expect him to go close to 200 points against the spooners so he will probably get the nod
My opponent has been using Swan all year as capt so lets hope for a slugfest at the G and a lower than avg score

I went with Goddard last week and that helped me get me into the Grand Final the this week.
Ablett for me as he plays the wooden spooners this week.

I went with Deledio captain as a reward for being the only player in my team who hasn't pissed me off at some point this year. my opponents all chose ablett so I just need him to play poorly

Turns out they went Chapman (100) and Montagna (46 at half time). I've had a spooky run of captaincy picks this year since taking autocaptaincy mode off, picking the highest scorer of Goddard, Swan and Ablett all but once (Goddard's 140-something to Ablett's 150-something).
