Caddy tees off at combineCaddy has always been known for his clean hands. As an inside midfielder, his specialty is seizing on balls in dispute and dispatching them to moving teammates. His strong build gives him extra leverage at stoppages.
“I just concentrate on keeping my eye on the footy and not thinking too far ahead,” he said.
It was only his red-faced determination that enabled him to push past the 14 mark, a level that enables him to be considered among the elite endurance runners.
Perhaps it was mildly surprising when Caddy recorded 60cm in the standing vertical jump, but it was close to astounding when he dipped well under the magical three-second mark in the 20-metre sprint.
Caddy has never showcased his pace on the footy field because he’s always been busy burrowing into packs rather than breaking away from them. His aim now is to develop his ability to link up and break the lines.
“I want to develop that outside dimension,” he said.

Imagine the meltdown if we're lucky enough to pick Caddy ahead of a KPP.![]()
Looks a Hayes type with his build and height.
Our list of tall midfielder/flanker types is just as vulnerable as our list of KPPs. Imagine the meltdown if we're lucky enough to pick Caddy ahead of a KPP.![]()

Love the meltdown, especially last year.![]()
.Wiggins has retired.Wiggins, Johnson, Grigg, Anderson, Tiller and O'Keeffe are a good chance to be delisted. Add to that list Houlihan who has, maybe, 12 months left.
Houlihan will play for another two seasons and give us depth until the next generation are ready to take over. Was in good form as a defensive forward who kicks vital goals and takes a good backman out of the game.
Johnson has probably done enough to play for another year.

Pick #14 - Lynch/Watson/Darling/McCarthy
Pick #18 - Caddy/Jacobs/B. Smith/Smedts

Kind of agree. I think he'll be an AFL player, but I've seen him ranked by some people between five and eleven when he's really nowhere near it.Still not getting the Lynch love. Has a ton of athletic potential, but we have that in Hammer, would much prefer we go after footy smarts

Hey guys not sure if many of you watched the Sanfl GF today but I am a Norwood supporter and I got to say that we definitely should have a look at either drafting or rookie listing Paul Puopolo This guy was just simply awesome today, has speed to burn, is extremely strong and shrugged of most centrals players today and he provided excellent rebound from the back 50. Is only 23 and his kicking skills are top notch. Commentators mentioned that a couple of Victorian clubs are interested hopefully we are one of them, because this guy could definitely help us in our backline and I feel has much more potential than say a Browne or an Anderson. He was named in the Sanfl team of the year at back pocket. Is he worth a Mature-Age rookie spot or even a draft pick?

Nah you wouldn't even know it when you watch him, would be able to match up on the fastest small forwards in the comp but hurt them on the rebound as well so I don't think his height would be a problem I mean he is taller than Eddie afterallBit short at 179cm....has that held him back (or down, i guess)??

Norwood website says 175cm so one would assume so.
