As a West Coast supporter I think it's great; we have most of the difficult teams at Subi and a lot of easier sides away.

I'd prefer we make the finals on merit- rather than slipping in on the back of a few easy home wins.

Mediocre. A couple of 5 day breaks, 3 back to back interstate trips (including Hawthorn at Tassie and Geelong at Shit Stadium in consecutive weeks). 2 trips to AAMI and 1 to Subi (one to Sydney as well from memory). Will hurt us come finals time.

Liking our draw a lot... plenty of eminently winnable home games, to say the least...

I really like our draw, it is a great draw and we only play the Saints once and Bulldogs once and we play Collingwood twice at the MCG:):thumbsu:

I'm pretty happy and I wouldn't expect too many Adelaide supporters to be feeling very different with our draw. The only downfall is the run home, but I think it should be a great lead up to finals :thumbsu: (assuming we make them of course :p)

Dear God, is that what Wambat looks like in real life?

To the West Coast idiot above, I seem to recall the Dees owning the Eagles at the MCG the last 2 years.

At least I know that if Melbourne go 1-21 next year, it will be due to our round 8 win over the Eagles.

The draw looks pretty daunting but that's probably because Richmond are so crap and can't beat anyone.

Overall it's not that great. we have to travel to the Gabba, the SCG, AAMI twice, Subi once and Skilled. So 6/7 possible trips to hostile venues.

It's good for me that we have two AAMI games, but not so good for the club.

Two Etihad games against the Saint's is absolute bullshit.

Bit annoyed that the MCG is Richmond's home ground, yet Collingwood get more games there. Crowd figure's I know but they shouldn't make us play home games at an away venue that we play hideous football at.

What did we do to deserve such a tough draw?

Oh, thats right we always get a tough draw.

And we always whinge about it..............

Nothing new here then.

It's funny listening to supporters of Vic clubs complaining about half a dozen interstate trips.

You have 11 games at hostile venues and 11 when you have the home ground advantge.

Richmond have 6 games at hostile venues, 5 games with the home ground advantage and 11 neutral.

Overall we have to travel more than we host.

I'm happy with Carltons 2010 draw, it is way better than essendons and collingwoods. Get alot of prime time matches and by the way to the brisbane supporter fevs may bleed maroon, blue and gold+alchohol but Bradshaw will bleed red and white(swannies)!!!

Going from the MCG to the TD is not travelling. We may have 11 home games (and we generally have one of the least hostile home crowds in the league, Sydney would be the least hostile), but we have 11 away games at hostile venues (10 if you minus Sydney). What I'm saying is that you shouldn't use travelling as an excuse because it sounds pathetic.

My sig is obviously a troll and working a treat. I bet he couldn't give a crap about the Lions. :D

I didn't count TD games. I only counted Subi, SCG, Gabba, Skilled Stadium and AAMI (x2).

the draw seems ok 4 Freo.
i respect the lack of MCG games, no worries, will just get more practice at Etihad (we need it). maybe the following year when we are gunning for the top 4 we will get games there.
hopefully we WILL play at the "G" this year in a final or few (come on gotta be positive in November)
as for a fair fixture i believe that the AFL should fixture the bottom 4 from the previous year to play each other twice, etc second bottom 4 play each other twice, top 4 play each other twice & second top 4 play each other twice.
then add in the blockbuster games (some of which will overlap) & you will get a fairer fixture.

Your being way to generous, North's average crowd is around 10k.
Must be why no more games at Arden Street.

Monkey see Monkey do when it comes to responding to morons.

Ah... was a bit flummoxed by the first 2 sentences of this post, but then I read the fineprint denoting the intended sarcasm ;)
