There's plenty of profiles around the place so I'll keep it to just a summary list.

4. WCE - Andrew Gaff - midfielder best available, all round quality - just what their midfield needs!

5. Bris - Jarrod Polec - midfielder perfect fit for the Lions. Nigel Lappin like.

6. Rich - Dyson Heppell - midfielder get the feeling they'll regret this pick. Should've gone Caddy or Lynch IMO

7. G.C. - Josh Caddy - midfielder the most talented outside the top 3 IMO, should go higher. G.O.B for rising star next year

8. Essn - Shaun Atley - midfielder improve the disposal and you've got yourselves a star.

9. G.C. - Tom Lynch - KPP what a bargain. more class for GC

10. G.C. - Kieran Harper - midfielder best available and more midfield talent

11. G.C. - Daniel Gorringe - ruck a bit of ruck depth for them and good value at 11

12. Melb - Jayden Pitt - mid/utility this is where it gets interesting for me. They could easily go Conca here or any of my next 10 picks!

13. G.C. - Jack Darling - utility best available.

14. Ade - Brodie Smith - midfielder I don't think he's good value here tbh but he's got Crows written all over him.

15. Geel - Isaac Smith - midfielder way too early for Smith IMO but the mail is the Cats are dead keen

16. Port - Scott Lycett - ruck mail selection again but I'm not confident. McCarthy or Tape makes more sense here to me

17. Nth - Sebastian Tape - ute/defender a quality versatile tall that will add class to whichever position they settle him in

18. Carl - Patrick McCarthy - KPP will depend on what Port do, if Cook and McCarthy are gone, they'll go for a mid, perhaps Parker.

19. Haw - Ben Jacobs - midfielder becomes a real raffle now and Melb's pick 12 selection will shape this part - toss a coin?

20. Freo - Reece Conca - midfielder I'm hoping, but won't surprise if he's already gone. Darling, Parker, Prestia and Green are others considered

21. Syd - Billie Smedts - utility good fit for Syd IMO

22. F/S - WB

23. Geel - Luke Parker - midfielder best available and they got some speed with Smith, here they get the accumulator

24. Sts - Pat Karnezis - utility upside galore, the Fyfe type pick of this year and fills a need

25. Bris - Matt Watson - KPP they got the mid at 5 and they'll rate this guy best available here

26. WCE - Warrick Andreoli - midfielder local, more pace to add to Polec's it's all good

27. North - Dion Prestia - midfielder nuggety little midfield tiger, just what the Blues need

28. Bris - Jed Lamb - small forward
obvious talent, will love being around Fev and Brown on and off the field

29. WCE - Angus Litherland - KPP a local, quality replacement for Spanger and Wilkes

30. Rich - Lucas Cook - KPP/ute good talent is Cook and a good fit for the Tigers

31. Essn - Josh Green - midfielder I love him. Along with Caddy they'll immediately impact the slow Bomber midfield in a positive way

32. Bris - Aaron Young - midfielder easily the best available here, they won't be able to resist

33. Melb - Cameron Guthrie - midfielder adds some much needed grunt to their midfield

34. Carl - Mitch Hallahan - midfielder More midfield fortification and best available

35. Port - Jamie Cripps - midfielder they'll address some needs as well as get some good potential upside with Cripps and Steinberg

36. Port - Ariel Steinberg - KPP

37. Geel - Callum Sinclair - KPP/ruck they need support in this area IMO

38. Haw - George Horlin-Smith - midfielder typical Hawks type and could be very good value here.

39. G.C. - Luke Mitchell - KPP I'd go Browne if it was my pick here but I think they'll go KP

40. Syd - Tyler Chalwell - KPP good get here IMO

41. F/S WB

42. Carl - Alex Browne - utilty I rate this guy and is great value at this pick and suits their needs too! Good get

43. Sts - Alex Fasolo - midfielder becomes a raffle now but Fasolo would fit IMO

44. Freo - Alex Johnson - KPPa bit early for him but he's got talent and is a fit for Freo and they've been known to reach for one they like lately

45. Coll -Tom Gordon - KPP insurance for Taz and a replacement for Anthony and/or Fraser

46. Coll - Nathan Batley - small defender project pick. Needs time and he'll get it with the Pies

47. Rich - Ben Newton - midfielder Tigers have 2 talls so far and will now go for mids to add depth

48. Essn - Josh Jenkins - ruck a need selection and a project player with possible huge upside

49. G.C. - Blayne Wilson - defender I'm struggling with placing him - he could go much earlier or much later? A "needs" pick here

50. Melb - Cameron O'Shea - midfielder good fit

51. Rich - Sam Crocker - midfielder Crocker or Michie? Michie or Crocker?

52. Port - Viv Michie - midfielder see above

53. Melb - Brandyn Grenfell - KPP/ruck needs addressed

54. Geel - Ed Curnow - midfielder another older pick but fills a need

55. Haw - Aaron Elari - midfielder Many will think it's too early but the Hawks will do well with him here

56. Freo - Aaron Mullett - midfielder best available and would've gone Puopolo if Mullett wasn't avail here

57. Syd - Cameron Delaney - KPP another tall but I reckon they need them

58. Geel - Paul Puopolo - small defender yes, another older pick but it was obvious in '10 they need a good small defender

66. Haw - Matthew Spanger - defender he'll go around here somewhere and the Hawks love his sort

67. Carl - Anton Hamp - KPP I like this guy a lot but there's rumours he's soft??? If so, he'll drop to around here but should be a lot higher IMO

68. Port - Tim Milera - small forward local and a good get

69. Nth - Justin Monaco - defender needs pick and good value at 69

70. Carl - Michael Hibberd - defender best available

71. Nth - David Kruse - defender project, prospective pick

72. Freo - pass

73. Syd - Andrew McInnes - defender best available

74. WB - Max Otten - defender best available

75. Sts - Brad Harvey - midfielder someone had to take the risk, and the Saints will be willing to try their luck

77. Coll - Hayden Yarren - small forward best available

78. WCE - pass

more depth for their midfield and he's pretty good.

No way we'd let Watson slide through 15 and 23 when Wells has said we need key defenders. We might let him past 15 if Caddy or Smedts are there, because we are keen on both, but no way will he get past 23, it will be GC Carlton or Hawks at 18/19, or us at 23.

As for Harper, and particularly Milera, we already have a surplus of half forwards and small forwards. Wells said quick midfielders, so I'd be looking at Prestia or Andreoli for us if I was you, and add in some key defender like Delaney or Tape, and a rebounder like Wilson or Kruse.

So in short, nah, you got our picks wrong.

Nah, I can see that happening. If Wells think's there's decent defensive prospects at #36 (Johnson? Gordon? Litherland?) he might just pick two mid/utility types at #15 and #23. Particularly given that with Lonergan and Taylor still reasonably young and Gillies in the side the kid won't be cracking a game for a while even if there's a need for him on the list.

I really think wells will go best available with our first 2 picks. so if watson is best available at 23 we would take him

Good effort, including a few sliders and bolters etc.

Karnezis in the top 20 is surprising, but I like the call. He's a solid prospect, and I could certainly see someone jumping a bit early on him because he offers a solid package upforwards.

Sorry, West Coast won't take 3 midfielders.

I agree that even though you do need midfielders, 3 is probably overkill. I think you lot will be hoping like mad that Lycett falls through to you at 26 and he may well do. Port may not take him but then you've gotta hope that Geelong don't get him. It'll be interesting. Do you think Watson would be worthwhile at 26 or do you have someone else in mind?

I don't think so, largely based on the fact that the common wisdom says there's more depth in the midfield crop this year, than there is in the key defensive crop, so I wouldn't think Wells would let Watson slide past 23 just so we could take another midfielder at 23, when there'll be plenty of good midfielders there at 36 anyway.

Although I suppose it depends on what type of defender (and how many) Wells is after...my reading is that there's a lot of good 3rd tall/versatile rebounding types, so if that's what he wants then you might be right, but if he's looking for a pure key position defender, Watson won't go past 23.

Personally, if I were on the recruiting table, I'd only let Watson go past 23 if I thought we had to use 23 to get Prestia. And even then I'd do it reluctantly.

One thing I am absolutely sure we can agree on though, is we ain't taking Milera...the last thing we need is another small forward :D

I like Sinclair too, but I doubt we'll go that way, at least not that early.

Maybe the club wouldn't, but I still reckon that sometime like that would be a great outcome for you, given the weaknesses of your midfield.

IMO, we'll need to take a tall forward prospect with one of our picks - there are a number of them and several should be in the mix at 26 or 28.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. What are you suggesting? Too early? too late?

There's a few picks in front of 77 that may not be used so he may go a tad earlier. Maybe you guys at 69 or, if you use it, 71.

Sorry bout that but alot of fans only wish that their clubs have the chance to draft all those players that have slipped in your draft.

I dont mean to bag you as it would be difficult to do.
Its just an out there draft, which is good to be different

Why would Adelaide take a kkp and a tall utility when we have plenty of those types already. I would suggest we would draft a couple of midfielders.

Adelaide recruiting manager Matt Rendell has already came out and said Adelaide would be looking for a midfielder at Pick 14.

I've taken into consideration the feedback from supporters quoting their clubs recruiting managers and their clubs needs etc and also taken Wilkinson out as he's apparently going to the Suns and updated my predictions.

Happy with the change with pick 14.
Adelaide have plenty of tall defenders in Davis, Rutten, Talia, L.Thompson, W.Young plus players like A.Otten, Stevens, Sellar and Mckernan who are capable of playing in defense. As far as small to mid sized defenders we have Johncock, Doughty, Van Berlo, Martin, Petrenko, Armstrong, Symes, and Schmidt. So we don't need Max Otten. Perhaps another midfielder or small to mid sized forward would better suit us.

Chalwell will be a gun at CHB, when we look back on the draft he will be seen as a steal, I don't think he will go as early as you have mentioned.
