Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score:1909
Overall ranking: 6,327 (weekly ranking of 180,213, and moved down about 5,000 spots)
Heroes: None
Villains: Alot
League Status: TBA
Injury concerns:N/A
Trades: Maybe bring in Swan or Hayes
Vent: Not venting anymore, had a great mother's day dinner
Kudos: LOL, none this week
Thoughts - Do i bring in Ablett or not? Well it's too late for top 500, so I'll stick to the plan (even if it's to my detriment)... Impromptu has decided to be a good sport and cop Ablett's score on the chin and be happy for others (well sorta), but geez PODS and Malceski are killing me!! I'll cop Ablett's 200 but geez this Malceski guy is really annoying me.......like every single game.. Seriously Malceski p1sses me off more than Ablett...LOL

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 1981

Overall ranking: Don't wanna know.

Heroes: Goddard, Ablett, Pav, Hodge, Sandilands. (Everyone has these players so it's cancels it out) Didak.

Villains: Where to start? Hall, Gilbee, Cooney, Enright, GOODES, Brown, Hille, Rockliff, Martin, Davis, Waters, M.Murphy. Ablett for ripping the Swans apart:(

League Status: Wone one and lost one.

Injury concerns: Not to my knowledge?

Trades: Thinking Maguire/Hunt/Silvagni to Roberton then Trengove to Hayes.

Vent: See Villains.

Kudos: Sandi and Pav. Absolute guns.

Thoughts: Have decided not to get too angry over Supercoach anymore, because it is just a game after all.

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score:2266

Overall ranking:nfi

Heroes:Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Hurn, ABLETT!, Sandi, NicNat, Pav, Gia

Villains:Waters, Brown, ROK, HALL!

League Status:Win, Loss (by 4 points), Win

Injury concerns:Mitchell, Shuey

Trades: Probably Hall -> Premium, then Martin -> Rohan the week after

Vent: HALL! Using the wrong rookies cost me a win

Kudos: ABLETT!

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2130

Overall ranking:
683

Heroes: Ablett, Podsiadly, Sandilands, Pavlich, Shaw, Didak

Villains: Dal Santo, Gilbee, Brown, O'Keefe, Davis, Pendlebury, Cooney, Kreuzer, Ziebell, Waters, Enright

League Status: who cares

Injury concerns: No one

Trades: Getting rid of the spud Ziebell for Harvey/Franklin/Gia

Vent: Dal Santo getting a measly 12 touches

Thoughts: 2 shocking weeks in a row now. my premium, top dollar midfield is falling apart. pendles and dal santo costing me points and money fast, cooney is falling out of form. was 25th a month ago, 40th three weeks ago... and this week, i'm 683. how quickly a season can change for the worse.

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 1977

Overall ranking: Don't want to know

Heroes: Ablett, Pav, Swan, Mal, Hodge, Goddard

Villains: GOODES, Hall, Gilbee, Dal

League Status: 4th, 1st

Injury concerns: None

Trades: Not sure, but my forward line's a shambles

Vent: Kicking myself for not picking up Pods when I should have. He would have solved so many problems for me!

Kudos: Ablett: One player who hasn't let me down. Probably saved me from a sub 1800 score.

Thoughts: It's just all gone horribly wrong...

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2303

Overall ranking: ?

Heroes: Hodge, Hooker, Betts, Hurn, Ablett, Sandi, Mayne, Pods, H. Shaw

Villains: Waters, ROK, Martin, Brennan, Browny, Mitch Clark (again!)

League Status: Win, Loss, Win

Injury concerns: Brennan, Shuey, Clark

Trades: Trengove -> Swan, Brennan -> ???

Vent: Clark and Warnock not playing left me a man short.

Kudos: Ablett, for single-handedly winning me one of my league games.

Thoughts: Could have really done without the Brennan injury, but team starting to take shape and looking okay after carrying mid rookies from the start. Need to get Goddard in my team somehow.

Heroes: hodge, malceski, shaw, ablett, swan, watson, stanton, sandi, cox, chapman higgins, pods.

only 170 away now,

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Yeah 760K plus is a bit exspensive, there are alot of good mids falling rapidly in price which will help you out.You planning on going the same strat again next year or will the second best player in the league behind Raph Clarke:p be the first man picked?

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2260

Overall ranking: 4987 (down 56)

Heroes: Gaz, Selwood, Sand, Mal, Hodge, Goddard, Gia, PODS

Villains: Waters, Brown, Murphy, Zeebs, ROK, Hille, Martin, Enright

League(s) Status: climbing :thumbsu:

Injury concerns: Shuey

Trades: 15 left.

Vent: Frustrated with Murphy & Zeebs.

Kudos: See Heros

Thoughts: Need to put a plan together for the rest of the year. I think Martin, Trengrove, Rocky, Gumby still have growing to do. Not sure to off load a cow or two now or wait. Time to check BE's.
Happy with my score now considering the low out put of my Villains.

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2151

Overall ranking: 11,211 (down 2.5k)

Heroes: Ablett, Sandilands and Pods.

Villains: Brown, Goodes, Hall, NDS, Waters, Enright.

League(s) Status: 2-1 this week.

Injury concerns: Shuey, Franklin, Silvagni.

Trades: 13 left. Hall out because a break-even of 167 means he's going to be dropping for a couple of weeks.

Vent: Sick of the unique picks not performing. Vince especially.

Thoughts: Hurting from an inability of my unique picks to get big scores. Only my standard picks that everyone has seems to be able to get them so I'm dropping off quite quickly. :( Got a bit of cash in the bank so need to figure out who to trade off this week and next. Medhurst is someone I want to get rid of but he's got a BE of 53... Waters I wouldn't mind keeping as my 7th back but he's got a BE of 101 which could hurt. The other candidates (Hunt, Maguire, Martin) haven't topped out yet. Sigh.

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2419
Overall Ranking: 12,610 (up 50,000 this week!)
Heroes: the usual, Kennedy, Podsiadly
Villains: O'Keefe, Brown, Gilbee, Goodes
Leagues: 2 wins, undefeated in public league and 2-2 in private league (top scorer by a mile though!)
Injury concerns: none that I've heard yet.
Trades: Trengove to Hodge, possibly downgrade Gumbleton if it looks like he's maxed out.
Vent: If the usual 100+ guarantees ROK and Gilbee performed and Goodes and Brown actually wanted to be out there I would have had a monster score!
Thoughts: my first year of SC, my best score so far and pretty happy with how my team is looking!

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Prepare for a rant....

Score: 2025

Overall ranking: 11,211 :thumbsdown: DOWN 6000 friggin spots! (The last 2 weeks I've jumped like 8-9,000 spots!)

Heroes: Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Gaz, Selwood, Pav

Villains: Enright, DAL F**KING SANTO, Kruezer you piece of s**t, Hille you big fat spud, BROWN- didn't even look like getting a kick on Saturday night, O'Keefe, GOODES YOU F**KIN SPUDLY PIECE OF s**t!! 3 HOLDING THE BALLS! F**KING KICK IT YOU HERO!, Hall. Words cannot describe the resent I have for you Barry Hall you bald prick.

And finally MYSELF: Was so close to trading Hall for Fyfe and starting Pods but I thought "Na, Bazza should kick a few against Melbourne".. Wow. Pods sitting on the pine notches up a lazy 157 whilst Hall and Goodes COMBINE for 56!!!!!!!!!! F**K!

League Status: Round about the middle in most.

Injury concerns: Shuey

Trades:
1. Hall downgrade to F**KING ANYONE!!! (ok maybe not anyone but you catch my drift)... Then start Pods.
2. Either Trengove-Swan or Hille-Cox

Vent: The last 2 weeks have been so so shithouse.. My premiums can never seem to all score well in the same week, Hall is a pile of bald s**t, trading in Goodes for Dangerfield 2 weeks ago was the equal worst decision i've made for the year, not starting with Sandi was other.

Kudos: Gazza. Words can't describe the love I have for this man.
jPod. Although you were on my bench I wanna boof you mate.
GO CATS!

Thoughts: I want to crawl up in a ball and cry. After spending 90% of my life since February studying Supercoach, I just cannot seem to catch a break. F**K it

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2508

Overall ranking: 212

Heroes: NicNat and Roughy, both a nice surprise (oh, and Ablett of course)

Villains: Hall you b@stard

Re: The Monday Wrap (round 7)

Score: 2184

Overall ranking: 20,941 (down 233)

Heroes: Ablett, Podsiadly, Sandilands, Pavlich, Shaw, Hodge, Goddard, Gray (for his last quarter!)

Villains: AGAIN, too many - Dal Santo, Brown, O'Keefe, Goodes, Pendlebury, Waters, Hall

League Status: disaster, 1-3, 2-2 and 0-4

Injury concerns: Shuey, Clark

Trades: Have to do something. Lots of quality mids will be on sale in the coming weeks.

Vent: GOODES!!!!, DAL SANTO!!!!

Kudos: Ablett, wow! Pods, unbelievable. Gray for his last quarter. Trengove (PA) for backing up ruck and scoring 57 when I expected 10.

Thoughts: Not a terrible score but should have been much better but for a line up of under-performing keepers. Just have to keep calm and wait out this form slump most of my players are in.
