Happy with the top 37 players but the last 13 spots can be switched all over the place. Ball is the other player I'd like to fit in. Murphy is unlucky but I think I did boot Scotland out too soon. Swan takes 2nd spot, just, but Hodge still a comfortable number 1. A few things still don't look right, the gap between Hall and Riewoldt seems to big. Maybe Watson, Simpson and Swallow should be higher. Someone questioned Lake being too high last week but it has been pretty even apart from the top 4.

Lots of standout performances in the middle this week so plenty are unlucky. Watched STK v HAW, GEE v BRI, flicked between saturday night games, 1st half of WBD v FRE and MEL v SYD.

I'm Andres Iniesta on this account.

Care to wager?

Has anything change with the way you hotlink your images AG? I swear I was able to zoom in by clicking the image and an enlarged (or full sized) image would appear within the post. Now I have to copy the link location and paste it in a new tab. :\

I haven't changed anything with my images. Right click > view image should work. BF might be making more changes again, so that might explain any issues. Wish they'd go back to how the had it originally.

Your english is too good to be Iniesta.

fair enough

and haha

Godzke if you're using Firefox, whilst being the same result, you can just click and drag the image up next to the open tab and it'll appear there as normal.
yeah cheers, will be doing that

David Mundy is about 20 spots too low. Would be competing with Sandilands for Fremantle's B&F.

If Griffen, Thomas, Watson, Boyd, Dal Santo, Swallow and Simpson have had better years than him as a midfielder I will eat my hat.

I hope your hat is tasty, because Boyd, Griffen, Thomas, Swallow, Watson & Dal Santo have all been better than Mundy this year..

Yummy!!!

I'm gonna enjoy seeing Pendlebury move into your top 10 this week after his BOG performance this week.

As a side, I know he is young but what does Beams have to do to get into this list? He is listed as "close" and was in the best 3 players on the ground this week. He has been listed as close for about a month now and has been in our best 5 in that period. He would have about 3 BOGs to this point of the season and he would have been in the best handful a number of times.

I was going to bring in Ball before Beams. But there was a good point a few pages back that Tuck (not sure why he isn't on the unluckies) has had a similar year so I need to figure out what to do with those mids. Same with Priddis because I think I'm underrated his year a bit.

I agree that Tuck has had a very good season, as have Ball and Beams.

Personally I think Beams has had more brilliant games but also more quiet games. I think Beams has been the better, Ball probably the more important.

Also, don't want to harp on about Collingwood players but O'Brien has had a better year than Russel and Harbrow who are in your list and play similar positions. He has been the best defender in the top side. I think his year has been underrated.

Ball has been good and far better than I thought he would.

Hardest week so far this year because most of the players in the teens didn't play that well and a lot of the players in the 20's did so there might be a few big jumpers like Watson and Boyd.

Easily the hardest week since I've been doing these lists, not sure why though. One obvious problem is that I might be leaning towards players from the good teams rather than picking guys like Cornes, Kennedy, Priddis, Tuck, Newman, Rischitelli, Goodwin, Jack, Mumford etc. who have been good in the average teams. Rioli might be unlucky as well, not sure where I rate his season.

Top 4 is clear of 5th, as is the top 11 clear of 12th. Happy with the top 42 names, obviously the order can change around but I stand by the top 42 players. Last 8 can be switched around a lot I think so I might be way off with some of those names.

I didn't watch much on the weekend so that might explain why I struggled a bit with the top 50. ESS v STK and SYD v GEE are the only games I watched completely. Watched quarters or halves from the rest.

Thanks AG...
I think you're overrating Griffen a bit. For example, Didak is close to or beating him in pretty much every statistical category but is several spots lower.
Good to see Ball and O'Brien in there.
Goodes could probably be a bit higher. Interesting too that Barry Hall is about 10 spots behind Riewoldt when he's on the same goals. Not saying it's incorrect though.

Griffen is one of those players that stats don't really tell the story. Same with Hill. They are line breakers, carry the ball and only need 15-20 touches to have an impact. Maybe I am overrating him but I'd still have him in the top 20.

I'd have Riewoldt ahead of Hall this season, agree the gap appears to big, mainly due to Hall's bad games being worse. Plus I seem to favour early season form a little bit so Hall is playing catchup on the list but realistically they are pretty much level. LeCras is even further back as well, so maybe he could be higher.

I'll keep Goodes where he is for now but he could go above 3 or 4 ahead of him. His best is outstanding but his bad games are bad.

I am not sure that Griffen or Hill do this any better than Didak though. Didak is a line breaker, not as much through run and carry but through 50-60m precision kicking.
