Crazy decade.

Ultimate low in 2010, ultimate high in 2018. Bunch of ups and downs throughout the other years, and unfortunately ended on another sour note with Willie-gate(orade).

Yeah a finals win in 17 could make you think it outranks 16 but we went 16-6 in 16 and thats normally top 4 min. Was a crazy even season.

3 teams finished 16-6. We had the lowest %.... again

Call me crazy but I'd have 2010 above 2013. 2010 was shite obviously but we had some injuries and the young blokes gave it their all. In most games we fought it out until the better side would pile the goals on in the last quarter.

2013 we were favourites and were carrying guys who were hoping for one last hurrah. Didn't have many injuries and we were getting flogged by average teams at home. It was way more deflating than 2010 ever was.

2010 we lost a bunch of games by under a goal and another few by 3-4 goals.

It wasnt really a wooden spoon side I remember thinking at the time.

The rebound into 2011 wasnt as surprising to Eagles fans as it was to others at the time.

Makes you wonder what 2016 could've been for us as we were rolling with some huge momentum going into the finals. Wins against GWS, Hawthorn & a red hot Adelaide at the time looked like we could be in for a good ride. The dogs regained several quality players with the extra week off and stalled our hot run. Taking nothing away from that amazing run the dogs had, it would've been interesting to see how we would've gone if the pre finals bye didn't come in until another year (Thanks Ross).

I really enjoyed 2011 for the rise of the youngsters coming through who would ultimately be the pillars in our 4th premiership last year. Shuey, JK, JD, Schoey etc.

2016 pre finals bye killed us.

Id dare say we were playing the best football in the league at that point.

Nics knee v Hawks didnt help either.

At least the bye got the Dogs back this year lol
