Confirmed
Gorringe - 3 years at $344,000

Daniel Connors ($238k, 1 year) -> Port Adelaide
Chris Judd ($332k, 2 years) -> Port Adelaide
Pick 30 -> Port Adelaide
Rhys Stanley -> Geelong
Daniel Stewart -> Geelong
Ryan Griffen -> Geelong

Confirm.

Griffen remains on a 2 year contract at $404k
Stanley re-signed to a 5 year contract at $194k
Stewart remains on a 1 year contract at $99k

The Ballarat Dragons would like to delist Daniel Currie and pay out the remaining two years of his contract straight out.

Also I just want to check how much that means I will be paying Currie out? Is it 200% times his current contract (ie. $214,000) or something else?

Are we allowed to delist a player and then pick him up in the pre-season draft?

I assume we are but it would mean that I would be over the cap before the draft started as the list thread would assume I am paying the delisted contract plus another 63k for the pre-season draft pick. How would this be looked upon?

I think I worked out the answer to my question myself.

If Currie ends up on an AFL list I will be paying out 200% (100% x 2 years) of his contract whereas if Currie does not end up on an AFL contract for 2012 I will be paying 150% (75% x 2 years) of his contract.

Is this right?

200% if he gets redrafted (I think I saw him on the training list for someone), 150% if he doesn't

Nobody's ever asked that question before.

If a player being paid out is picked up, whatever the club picking him up pays for him comes off the paying out club's cap. If you want to commit to a re-draft (if available) pre-draft you can do that by posting in this thread or one of the replacements to come on Saturday and Thursday, but you will not then be able to change your mind if the player doesn't get picked up by an AFL club in one of the drafts. I will sort that out on the lists in time for cap reviews (i.e. if you want to be over the cap going into the ND with a re-draft to get you under, you need to confirm that re-draft option by next Thursday's cutoff).

Excellent. Thanks for the confirmation Russian.

Do I have to confirm Currie's delisting or is that just for the 50% delistment rule?

Thanks. Probably won't even apply to me but I was interested to what the ruling would be.

Ballarat Dragons trade Brent Macaffer to Melbourne for Sam Crocker.

Same contract for Crocker.

I think I've done it before, whereby picking up a new player would have had me over the cap. don't quote me but I'm almost certain I have...

Again open to any offers as long as they're fair.
I've said it to a few people, I'm looking long term so would prefer younger players

Trading closes in less than 48hours so we'll need to be quick.
6pm Saturday.

Not sure what affect this has on the current lists, but Austin Wonaeamirri has nominated for the National Draft whereas Troy Taylor has not.

Confirm
Griffen 404k 3
Power 450 1 (current)
Newman 325 2 (Current)
Stewart 99 2
Can you do these contracts? I thought you could only do the contracts as specified on the first page of the thread (Post #3). Which would mean if you wanted Griffen for 3 years it would have to be at $492,000 a year and Stewart would have to be $103,000 a year for 2 years.

That's what I thought too. Waiting for clarification...

Correct

Which is a good opportunity to clarify that all trades must be valid as well as confirmed by both sides by 6pm AEDT tomorrow night. If a contract is wrong the whole trade will be disallowed, and if a player/pick from that trade is subsequently on-traded, that second trade will also be disallowed. It's up to you to check that both sides of your trade are valid and posted correctly.

It means no free delistment for Wonna

Adelaide would like to apply to delist Steven Baker and Byron Schammer both at 75%
Don't have to apply for that. Post when you're sure you want to do it and it will be done.
