Brad Hill Highlights - Very Skinny like Newman you would think he'd end up playing as a FP/HFF rather than pure winger like his brother who's taller, stronger and bigger.

He is darker than Stephen, doesn't really show any of that pace in that video which has been talked about.

FFS, Shuey was drafter top 20 in the draft who showed star potetial intraining and Neates went undrafted in the national draft and was only picked up in the PSD (should have been in the rookie draft). FFS, Dalziell actually stays fit and offers depth and would probably impact the salary cap more so it's actually not really an option if we need to pay Davis too.. FFS, would you really choose Neates over Davis??

Who's to say Dalziell won't break down next year and Neates has the good run with injury? You never know these things

In terms of skill and what they bring to a team out of Davis, Dalziell and Neates the choice should be clear cut, ie the guy in the middle who can't hit targets for shit should be the one not on the list.

just remember guys west coast have a history of picking the guys they dont talk about rather than the guys they do. I really wouldnt be surprised to see us take 2 guys that the club hasnt really talked about tomorrow.

Quayle has us taking Merrett and Hill with our two picks. Must admit I'm not particularly happy with the players chosen but at least we appear to be targeting pacy outside mids.

If we go down that path I'd prefer Murdoch/Newman/Yeo and even a Brad McKenzie. Although he ain't the paciest guy around he is still very agile by all reports and it can never hurt to have more class disposal on the field.

It was actually the first thing I noticed. He doesn't look anything like Stephen. Maybe different fathers. So if we take him maybe he doesn't have the squibness in him.

I still really, really dont rate brad hill. Impressive athletic stats but i stand by my original comment in regards to him and his brother. Both enter the same equation, one turns one way, one turns the other. Stephen turns the right way.

I think the one thing Hill's DC results do show is the mindset is there to work really, really hard at getting results! you can't get into the 16's on a beep test, and break 10min on a 3km TT without having put in the work in the months leading up to it. No doubt that would be as impressive as the numbers to many recruiters!

I would be interested in seeing his stats for the kicking and clean hands tests though!

Nah that was Luke Adams. Proudlove had a car accident on his way down south and is in a coma or something.

If you must know, Stephen is a lot like their mother (lighter skin, same facial features), whereas Bradley is lot like their father (darker skin, same facial features, talkative as well). I'm not exactly sure on this but I believe the mum is either not Aboriginal at all, or she is half aboriginal, and as I said above Stephen takes after her (lighter skin).

It's like that in the rest of the family, they have an older sister who, like Bradley, takes after the father, but they also have a sister in between Stephen and Bradley who takes after the mother.

I suspect WCE will be keen on Lockyer or Talia, who ever is available with their first pick.

The second pick appears to be more interesting with Nelson and perhaps Mansen as WCE need a fast, classy, finishing runner through the middle.

Suspicions are that rookies will likely be Medhurst, ruckmen, midfielder, mid.

Surely time is now to delist after the draft, perhaps Dalziell, pay him out, get a pick in the draft, didnt that happen with Hansen last year and get Leon in?

Davis wont be available for WCE with its 2nd 3rd or 4th Rookie pick, Freo would snap him up before then having already committed to Zac Dawson

Does anyone see this (presumably it is able to happen), going ahead?

Merrett's an interesting choice by her. Isn't he the Vic Country kid whose mother has MS? He helps take care of her ... would seem high risk of serious and legit homesickness issues ...

It could happen if Davis falls into our lap as a rookie but otherwise no chance , a price of $ 300 000 means he will only go in the PSD and unless we delist Stevenson who I have heard nothing of this pre season we are no chance !

Dalziell is required as a depth midfielder who can run all day , ..... as indicated by Daniher and Woosha so Dalziell will be staying at least in 2012 .

FFS Neates has only had 2 years, by the same criteria we should have delisted and rookie listed Shuey due to his injury concerns.

Dalziell will be lucky to play a game next year and has no future at AFL level, Neates at least still has a chance to make it and should be preferred to Dalziell every day of the week.

I think you missed teh part where I intimated that Dazzle would likely be on a higher wage than Neates, and fitting Davis 300k would be probably impossible if we cut Dazzle... woudl suggest Neates is on a much lower wage and if cut (salary would count against cap) would not be that big of a hit, relatively speaking.

It's like 90% done.

We would be dumb and stupid to not draft Davis if the chance comes. We have two years to snatch a premiership before we start seeing the back of our veterans. I think we still will be a premiership threat but we would then be a few puzzle pieces away from finishing the jigsaw. Hopefully with free agency we can lure some established players to the club.

The only way I'd want Davis is through the rookie draft, I don't see Dalziell at West Coast after this year, especially if we get another mid today
