I sent a pm to both Eaglesflyinghigh and wishinaintgetting but forgot to say what I quoted so I just thought I should make it highly visable :p

Evening ladies and gents. Well it looks as though Eaglesflyinghigh is out, which obviously maskes me very sad :D! Happy New Year mate. Now lets see what you've left me with.

Ok, so I have no KPP or ruck :(. But I have the next 4 picks right?

Ok I'll be back....

Well the KPP stocks have already been decimated so I am sticking close to home on a few of these picks. Not only because I have some rosey glasses on, but also because I think some of our guys will have breakout seasons. Time will tell I guess.

Belated pick #55 - Sam Jacobs
A natural footballer who has some outstanding qualities you'd love in a ruck. With limited opportunities he averaged 7th in the league for hitouts and showed in the final against Sydney (albeit against a below par ruck combo) what he can do. If he can increase his tank and use his natural footy nouse to get to the right spots, I think he will quickly take Adelaide's no. 1 mantle from Eevaan.

Belated pick #56 - Heath Shaw
A rebounding defender is just what I need, and Heath fills this role to a tee. His 2010 was down on output marginally from 2009 however his run and carry from defence is a vital part of Collingwoods success. At 25 he should be around his peak and a good pickup at #76. Plus the man has his own website :D:eek:!!!

Pick #77 - Taylor Walker
This guy gets Adelaide fans hard/moist like no other since perhaps one T Modra. He oozes natural ability, flair and football nouse. His highlight reel is already impressive and with another full pre season under his belt, will look to explode in 2011. Barring injury will play 22 games and kick 50+ goals.

Pick #78 - Phil Davis
Ok a bit of a KP roughie here but I liked what I saw last year. With Bock gone surfing, CHB duties should fall to this courageous kid (who can forget that mark running with the flight of the ball). He has great poise under pressure and has the added 'flexibility' of being able to pinch hit up forward.

Sorry been playing madden all night because the pick was taking a while

ummmm, well, we now reach the stage in the draft where my knowledge starts to get stretched, so most picks from here on out will be shit

therefore, I pick, Dayne Beams

Pick 80 Shaun Burgoyne

injury prone but if he stays injury free will most likley have a good year.

Hey guys....

Really sorry that I have been holding the game up.

Have been INCREDIBLY busy the last couple of week and have spent very very little time on big footy.

If i haven't been kicked out already, It's probably best that I am.

Thanks guys

It has been fun.

EFH

No stress EFH - Riggy has it in hand with a replacement.

So - who's up?

ams4crows
but dont cancel plans tonight to be here for the game

BACCS is at the cricket so even if ams makes her pick right now, BACCS wont be on for about 6 hours to make his pick (maybe longer if he hits town after the cricket)

well, BACCS is it the cricket, so you'll be waiting a while
he might, MIGHT check his i-phone in the break, but I doubt it.

Gonna have to be late tonight at best :)

I was hoping I would snare at least one of Taylor, Goodes and Hall:(. I'll take a CHB here and go for...

Pick #42: Sam Fisher
A very valuable part of St Kilda's defence and very important to their squad, and this makes him a fairly underrated CHB.

guess you got a great steal here roo2macca :p:thumbsu:

Sorry guys, only got home a few minutes ago.

Pick 81 - Brad Green

Seriously close to an AA spot last year, after kicking 50 goals and having a career best year.:thumbsu: Should be the new Melbourne captain, and still has many good years left in him. I had a couple of others lined up for this pick, but I think I'll be able to nab them next pick.

I've been running with a best-available at each pick, instead of picking for need, so I'll go with:

Pick 82: Ryan O'Keefe

Pick 83: Jared Brennan

All the good rucks are gone, so this ensures I don't have to have two of the remaining spuds in my 21. Brennan adds versatility, with the ability to play in almost every position on the ground, including 20-30 minutes of ruckwork a game. He's teased us with breakout years for a while now, it's time for him to actually have one in this new environment. Let him loose McKenna!

you're lucky you put in yan
If you just went R.O'Keefe or just O'Keefe

I would of given you Rhys O'Keefe because I'm in a shitty mood

He had injuries last year but he is a big strong quick FB, reminds me a bit of Truck, my next pick is Daniel Merrit

FB xx D.Merrit xx
HB xx A.Goodes xx
C xx L.Montagna xx
HF xx J.Roughead xx
FF xx B.Fevola xx
R M.Leuehberger M.Murphy B.Goddard

pick 85 - Daniel Hannerbery

B: XXXXX ~ Scarlett ~ XXXXX
HB: XXXXX ~ XXXXX ~ XXXXX
C: XXXXX ~ XXXXX ~ Hill
HF: XXXXX ~ Tippett ~ XXXXX
F: XXXXX ~ Hall ~ XXXXX
R: McIntosh ~ Judd ~ Hannebery
I/C: XXXXX ~ XXXXX ~ XXXXX

Emg: XXXXX ~ XXXXX ~ XXXXX ~ XXXXX

The 2010 NAB rising star will bring youth, speed and ball winning to the midfield and will complement Judd. After a very good 2010, he will be prime to have an outstanding 2011 season and show why he was rated the rising star of his class.

Daniel Merrett is a horrible pick IMO lol sorry.

don't agree - top five fullback. People have very short memories, no one would have done well last year in that side, especially with injuries.

Merrett is a gun stopper. Not many people have his combination of strength and pace which allows him to go with the athletic forwards.

Close your eyes when he gets the ball though.

Edit: dammit so many quality players go between each of your picks when you have the double pick. I was sure O' Keefe was gonna last till my next pick.
