You got to love when people always take players with the really good teams, and the good players at shit teams slide.

I take with pick 233, the person selected at pick 144 last year by cammo84, and at pick 279 the year before by me. Nic Naitanui, nice to see you back playing for me Nic. Hopefully you do well :)

****ing hell
I just edited the 2nd post from the last name that was done in the 1st post
just realised about picks 150-170 hadn't been put in, in the team by team picks.

Gonna have to do that first before I realise who is actually available for me to take

Well, that's done, and I'm quite dissapointed

I like some backup rucks around, Brogan is good, Fraser will have alot of opportunities, Charman may as well, Gorringe should get some time for Gold Coast, Vickery should improve again and might get some time at Richmond.

But I want a more athletic option, who can fill in holes, kinda like a real sub.

Someone like McKernan (who I passed on for who I took) or Moran. But neither a certain starters. Then I'd want people like Ryder, or Clark, or Trengove (PA) but they're all already taken.

But there are 2 people, who should get gametime as that mobile, backup ruckman during the game.

On one hand I have Tom Hawkins, 23yo this year, averages over 10 disposals, and a goal a game.

While on the other hand I have Justin Koschitzke, he gets more goals, but he doesn't really play as much in the ruck and isn't as usefull.

Plus, Hawkins, can only improve

So I guess I'm taking Tom Hawkins.

Had an excellent season with the GC in the VFL last year, and is expected to make the transition to AFL level pretty easily.

I was convinced that he would slip to my pick! I didn't think he would be on too many people's radar!:(

Pick 236 - Adam Selwood (WCE)

Pick 237: Shannon Byrnes

He's a bit of a front-runner, so who knows how he'll go next year if Geelong continue their decline. Then again he could receive more time in the vacant Ablett role and destroy it. I could use another small goalkicker with good defensive pressure alongside McGlynn in my forward line so I'm happy to snag him here.

Rebel selects Kepler Bradley :/

Spud city, but he actually had a great bunch of games last year. I don't know if he can keep it up with the addition of Griffo but would be a pretty good foil for Leuenberger in rebel's lineup.

A good young kid on the Gold Coast who will play a lot of games this year.

Pick #240: Andrew Krakouer
I'm currently lacking a livewire up forward, and Krakouer would fit that bill perfectly. I'm expecting him to play most games this year for Collingwood taking Davis' spot in the forward line. Destroyed the WAFL last year and, he should play an important role this year.

Pick 241 - Inanimate carbon rod.

Think it's time i looked outside the box. The rod has lots of potential and could become an AFL powerhouse.

Easton Wood

Good height, moves well, never stops competing. A lot to like here.

I've finished? How many emergencies do i need?
I think Riggy stated that there will be three like a normal side but I think there should be 7 to give our team depth in case injuries take their toll.

Pick #245: Jared Polec

Should spend a considerable amount of game time in the Lions midfield this year. Could also be a smoky for the rising star.

Pick 245: Chris Masten

A somewhat underrated player at the Eagles as he is following 2 generational players in Judd and Cousins. Masten will be a very handy depth player to fill in the squad.
