2011 Buddy Draft

I hope its okay if i get the ball rolling for this years draft.

For those of you who are new to this, the Buddy concept works by people adopting a player for the season, and reporting on said player after each weekend's game. Some people like to also post news articles relating to their player, and things like wallpapers. If done well, these threads will be such an interesting source of information in the years to come. Rather than relying on plain stats and the odd news article, we could be reading what the supporters thought of our players as they came through the ranks.

So everyone who is looking to participate, please note that you DON'T have to try to compete with DThomas' thread, but please try to keep it respectable!

So who's in?

Its first come first serve just name the player you wish to report on for the season.

Really last season his deeds spoke for themselves, much like Maxwell.

I would suggest that people reporting for their Buddy start a new thread with their number, name and 2011 in the title, e.g. '#10 - Scott Pendlebury - 2011'. It allows for quicker access to the latest news.

Also, the person reporting this year won't get credit if they don't start a new thread, because the Buddy from last year will have their name listed underneath the thread title. But if you are continuing with a Buddy that you had last year you should continue on and just PM one of the mods to make the thread title say '2010, 2011'.

And I don't think anyone posting as Dale Thomas this year will want to load up all the images in the thread and have to go through all the pages all the time.

Anyway, just a suggestion.

My Mum found a fairly old Collingwood jumper in the Salvo's and bought it for me. It has number 28 on the back. Admittedly I had to google it to find out who it was but now all of a sudden "Ben Sinclair" is my man.
