Re: Round 3- Captains

J Selwood could be an absolute trump card this week. The worry is him returning, will he be fresh with all cylinders firing or a bit flat? Risk vs reward!

Playing Port @ Skilled. This game could resemble GC vs Carlton, a good old fashioned flogging, which = multiple Geelong tons.

Did I follow my own opinion...? Of course not. Played "safe" with Swan

Re: Round 3- Captains

Damn, my countdown said 7 mins to go... Clicked to change back to Swan as captain and it didn't change :( Hope Pendles does alright.
I lost my match by 16 points... This little timing stuff up gave me my first loss

At least I know not to rely on their countdown timer being close to accurate.

Round 4 Captain and Emergencies

who will be your captain? Could be a big decision with the multi team bye.

Cox is leading the way for me so far against the Hawks, or Pendles against the tigers!

Re: Round 4-Captain

Did well with Franklin last round and he should go well against West Coast? Dont have Swan, Goddard isnt smashing it lately...

Re: Round 4-Captain

I'll probably opt for Swan, though I wonder how many goals Dawes will kick against the Tigers. Could be many... Richmond are still without Rance and McGuane this week.

Re: Round 4 captain and emergencies

Swan played well under par, and still managed 108, cant see him having another off game against the tigers. Swan without a doubt!

Re: Round 4 captain and emergencies

Hopefully Jackson tags Swan out of the game and Pendles dominates. Not likely.

I dont like any of my captaincy options this week. I might go Sandi. Maybe someone from North will punch him in the other eye and he'll have a blinder.

Re: Round 4-Captain

The only player I would be tempted to take the captaincy off of Swan for is Cox who is gunning it at the moment. But will most likely bank the points that Swan provides and be done with it.

Re: Round 4 captain and emergencies

Swan captain.

Bringing in Duigan for Otten and Curnow for Harris. Hopefully my run of choosing the incorrect emergencies will come to an end.

I'd probably keep harris on the ground, GC play Melbourne this week and it's probably the closest they'll get to a win and for that to happen Harris will have to contribute a fair bit. Thats just my thinking. :)

Re: Round 4-Captain

Swan. No doubt. END THREAD!

given the malthouse theory of fresh legs reqd throughout the year and the big anzac day clash looming what are the odds swan or pendles will be subbed off around half time - especially if the pies are 8+ goals in front

I was thinking along the same lines, but I've bet against Curnow twice and he has delivered a hundred both times. Not sure whether to stick with my gut or the results.
