For sure. Crows have done an 'ok' job at negating opposition influential players this year i think and with Boyd being the lone-hand this year i couldn't go with him as captain given the other choices available. But Griffen could have easily copped a tag too though.

Yeah, should have warned people to stay away from Boyd. Brought him in this week so bank on a 90-odd. Good to see him on 45 at half time, that's about par for my new recruits.

I went with Cox too. Launceston is notorious for being windy, makes kicking bags of goals hard.

Pretty sure Buddy kicked 6 down there against W.C earlier in the year. Who knows how many he will kick against GC, But i hope it's double figures

actually, he'll go terrible, just so he can fire up for his annual "shitting on" Essendon next week

I had forgotten about that game!

Looking back at the records now, I retract my statement. Buddy has 61 goals in 18 games down in Launceston. Including 5 bags of 6 goals, and 3 bags of 5.

Went Cox, tempted by both Franklin and Ablett as both could potentially got 150 + but I reckon Cox is the safe option, lock and load 130 for me.

Ablett is pretty much my perma-captain.

Pretty much this, he is on a hot streak at the moment, his hot streaks are better than anyone else in the league.

His C points are to help make up for the fact that I have Bewick starting this week

Can't see Cox covering Mitchell's 144 now so hoping he can at least manage a ton.

Round 14 Captain

Already looking forward to next week after a bit of a shocker this round. Last week was a bit of fail in terms of captaincy with our 3 most popular choices just managing 100 or thereabouts.
Buddy 89 (40%)
Cox 105 (28%)
Boyd 91 (12%)

This week I expect Boyd to be pretty popular although Boomer’s numbers against Port are very decent averaging 127 in his last 9 since 2006

Note: a couple of these options are under injury or suspension clouds.

Another game I lost because of the Captain.

I had Franklin he had Cox, I lose by 3 points

And ffs, traded Mundy for Bartel as well!
