Re: Round 3- Captains

Just having a look at Swanny's numbers v Carlton.

Averages 113 over 11 games. Last 3 - 152, 113, 136. Yes please.

Probably with that little disease Joseph hanging off him also.

Will absolutely go nuts i reckon

Re: Round 3- Captains

went goddard over swan this week (in DT too).... paid a big price.

swan is the man in form of this competition.

cox will score well against mumford. if i didn't have swan i'd go cox.

Re: Round 3- Captains

No Swan in my side yet - and I may never be able to afford him the way he's going - so I'll have Bartel at Kardinia v Port. Hopefully it pisses down rain too.

Re: Round 3- Captains

No Swan, will be choosing Cross to bully the feck out of GCS

Re: Round 3- Captains

No swan for me either so ill either go with pendles or bartel.

Re: Round 3- Captains

:D LOL with emphasis on Bold..

Added bonus is game is televised live...:thumbsu::thumbsu:

I'm a bit scared picking Swan, but I'm more scared not picking Swan

This...plus alternatives arent so obv. Judd/Smurph/Gibbs are tied up with Collingwood, so no go. Pendles in hard game, so too risky.

Saints will have their hands full just winning a game let alone selecting Roo/Goddard who are struggling by their usual lofty standards.

Cox/Sandi...too risky...Sandi away to Adelaide and Cox vs Mumforde. Maybe Cox is an option.

Selwood is the best option for those who have him. Port are diabolical. Bartel an option as well if you are up for the higher risk.

Buddy is your risk takers gamble!

Or any Bulldogs players, as they will win by 150 ... Boyd, Cross ...

The trouble with the doggies is they dont have 1 standout over the others. Someone will score 150 but which player? I have Higgins, but it could be any of:
Boyd
Cooney
Cross
Higgins
Griffin
Gia

Unless you are saying, you just want to guarantee a 100 pts...then yes, lock in a bulldog mid. If you want the 150, i'm not sure which one would get it!

Headline on the HS website is Astbury ready for Buddy challenge LOL. You wouldn't want to follow the game if you took the leap of faith, frees against costing double would make you slit your wrists

I'm half thinking about Chapman this week. No one else has him so if he has a big game against Port and Swan gets 100-110 it would pay off big time.

I'm in the top 500 so not really worth deviating much I think given a lot of teams ahead of me would have Cyril.

Re: Round 3- Captains

Got burnt hard by the last minute captain change to Goddard, never again.

No Swan, have Pendles but will be hard against the Blues midfield. Bartel at Kardinia against Port looks the goods, also considering Cross against GC.

Re: Round 3- Captains

J Selwood could be an absolute trump card this week. The worry is him returning, will he be fresh with all cylinders firing or a bit flat? Risk vs reward!

Playing Port @ Skilled. This game could resemble GC vs Carlton, a good old fashioned flogging, which = multiple Geelong tons.
