VC on Gibbs for me.
Take the 133 or put the Captain on Swan or someone else. Not sure?

Im in the same boat, will have to have a hard think about swan as cpt. now.

It's a decent size boat!

Swan has a good record Vs Port... (most recent) 127, 166, 118, 118, 100, 107 (2006). Very solid, although only one of those scores is above the 133 we've currently got in the hand with Gibbs.

I can see how the "advantage" of having Gibbs in the VC loophole can actually backfire, if Swan rips out a huge one. Hard to go past 133 in the sky-rocket though.

Gibbs score rounded up to 138, easy choice now IMO. Captain scoring around 140 I'll take that. I think I would feel worse if I had Swan captian and he gets 110 then having Gibbs captain and Swan scoing 160.

i'm in the same boat. Those are the breaks with partial lockout. Think i might put the big C on pendlebury.

I'm leaning towards putting in on Pendles as well, not taking Judd's score.

I had Judd as vice-captain. I'm tossing up between Goddard and Pendlebury now. I think I'll stick with the former.

I think I screwed up.

I tried to utilize the Vice Captain trick. I had Gibbs as VC last night and after his high score i decided i'll take that. So I put D Swallow on the field and made him captain and put Heppell on the bench. Except somehow it looks like I didn't make Heppell my emergency (I only have 2 emergencies for some reason )

Does this mean I'll get Gibbs score as captain but suffer a 0 from having D Swallow on the field?

Just need help in clarifying one thing. I understand the whole VC semi-lockout loophole. But iv'e heard that some people are subbing in GC players this week, is there some other loop hole that I'm unaware of?

If you had a Richmond or Carlton emergency play well you would sub on a Gold Coast player so the Gold Coast player would score 0 and the emergency player's score would count.

eg. I had Curnow as an emergency so when he scored 120 I subbed on D. Harris so his score would be counted. If he had of scored poorly I would have left Atley or Heppell on the field.

Round 2 - Captains

Who is your captain, and why?

At the moment I am tossing up between Goddard, Gibbs or Judd.

Goddard because he has a good record against the Tiges. Judd and Gibbs because they are up against GC and they have a young and inexperienced team and more senior players SHOULD do well against them. Thoughts?
