Since I only brought Pendles in this week, it seemed churlish not to give him the C, with Gaz VC. My main league opponent has this reversed, and we're pretty evenly matched elsewhere, so time to bite some fingernails...

It would appear permacapts are back in vogue

Last week, GAJ (121) and Swan (133). Our other popular choice of Boyd v GC managed 106 as well although it wasn't always looking the case with a pretty slow start.

Permacapt, GC opponent or risk/reward??

Pavlich is a no-brainer. His lowest score @ Patersons this year is 96. Coming off a 155 vs Lions, he could do anything vs GC

I think Pav is the obvious option. I will be considering Chapman though. It's a risk but one i might take a punt on to get me into the top 100. Cats will maul bombers this week. having said that will probs end up going the safe option.

Damn, looks like Scotty Thomspon isn't a fan of playing the Swans.

Some good options, players like Fyfe tend to do well against the GC, Pav another option, Judd after a poor week last week, Chappy finally coming into form and Swanny is back!

And he scores 80 and everyone is pissed and vows to never to use that player again, and thus the cycle begins again

There's been a few weeks where everyone has said captain choice was obvious and was burnt. Boyd Vs Crows, Cox a few weeks back Vs Port etc.... It was tongue in cheek

Ahhhhhh... wasn't hating but obviously my sarcasm detector was off. I guess everyone always has a theory on why a particular player will fire as Captain.

I was on fire last year with C selection by mainly sticking with a combo of Ablett and Swan and switching pretty much perfectly throughout season. This season the radar ain't been as flash!
