Talked to someone in Vic yesterday connected with the club Talia is at, and he suggested that they think that he is a better prospect than his older brother (bigger too, I think?).

Might be worth keeping an eye on.....

Cheers tll - seems strange how some players can win B&F's or in other instances captain a state team and still get overlooked, they obviously have 'something'. Don't know if is the vanilla or old less than 180cms chestnut [I believe Kallen is somewhere between 177-179cms cotter] but from here on in the world of football drafting for me, I'd be ranking 'footy brains' very high on the list of prerequisites - just don't know how us amateur guessers of the falling of the draft are going to find the info to those corner stones...

Absolutely. There are a million stories like this. It is something that can only be measured by watching someone play numerous times. There is certainly a swing back to the recruitment of more 'natural' footballers with an emphasis on kicking ability as opposed to athletes. We can thank the 'press' and the invaluable asset of slicing through the zone with precise kicking and good decision making.

FWIW, there are a couple of QLD talents in the next 2-3 years that have been touted as possible high draft picks. The most exciting in some while. (Granted that Dixon/Smith/Sexton all probably would have been early picks)

What about the kid who took apart Patton on the weekend. Is it Boseley from the Falcons?? KPD sounds like our man...

He will take a while, but he would be good around that second round pick mark, has everything you want in a KPD. Solid on the rebound and good defensive skills.

Boseley is now being talked about as a first round selection, he also had red hair so that is an automatic in at the Lions...

I think we have to think twice about recruiting rangas. With Brisbane having the highest UV values out of all the teams, we might be exposing them to a greater skin cancer risk. Plus, they're rangas.

First pick I would be going best available and selecting someone like greene Grigg Tyson or even Brad Mckenzie.
