The way I see it, We'd be a good chance to trade for Jaeger in 3-4 years anyway. Look at this years trade period, it's absolute pandemonium! Nobody and nothing is sacred anymore. If we miss out on him which is more than likely at this stage we can always revisit this down the track the way I see it now on reflection.

Yeah, I say let Jaeger have his 2-3 years wherever ... if he proves himself to be a gun, then get him to walk out on his club and we can send across our first few draft picks and a decent player. So basically do something similar to whatever trade we would need to get the #1 pick, but he would have had a few years in the system and we'd know if it was worth it. Just have to hope that WC don't get him. Unfortunately, I think they are a decent chance.

CBF starting a new thread about this but I reckon Tyson Goldsack would be pretty peeved to miss out on a grand final berth again with Collingwood. Anyone here rate him?

Also, apparently Tim Goosage & Bazil Zempilas are apparently both adamant that Peake is coming back to freo and are arguing over who broke the story first? Can anybody with Twitter varify this??

or Paul Bower. I think that trade will be one that looked good in the first year, then in four years time we'll be kicking ourselves.

I think Bower is looking at going back to WA so it may happen. Bower's position is one at Carlton that is plentiful so it's hard for him to get a gig. Also had a few injury problems last 2 years. Before that though was starting to play some really good football.

Quite a few people hoping that will happen. There was some talk a week or so ago that Roberton wants to be traded to Carlton so it would be a good swap. If any of it is true of course
