Got to love a champion ass coach....
I would keep Bollenhagen and Sibosado, and delist Crowley and Pearce. The first two might not make it, but at least they have something to work with (skills, speed, etc.).
I still remember watching Bollenhagen explode from the centre against Geelong in his 1st pre-season and slam the ball through from 60m. Give Lyon a chance to work with his talent.

What are peoples thoughts on Mitchell Grigg, have read earlier reports saying he'd go top 10, and compered as a cross between Rich and Hill, more inside though and clerance machine, with super left boot. Emma Quaile dosn't have him in her top 15. Would we strike with one of our three picks?

Both had big wraps on them in their draft year. IIRC they were both described as the next Pav.
Same, I thought it was Hilly. Plenty of players struggle in their second year - it's a named medical condition I believe.
My theory is that in the first year they are under the radar and have not done any heavy weight gain yet. Heavy enough (just) to play a few AFL games, but then after another year and pre-season they are still becoming accustomed to their larger bodies. Give em time to grow into MEN.

It is understood Hird recently showed his players data that revealed they each covered an average 25km-30km a week last pre-season.
The same figures showed Fremantle, plagued by injury this year, subjected its players to more than 50km a week and sometimes as much as 60km.

Know Sam, went to school with him. Very disappointing news, but Hawthorn is a hard team to break into, especially as a foward.
Has elite endurance and good hands though, wouldn't mind if we threw him a lifeline, get him back to Perth.
Not that it matters but Mitch Morton was traded to Sydney.
Sam Menegola sounds very interesting as a rookie list prospect - a mate who coaches in WAFL colts gave him a big wrap. Anyone know why he was dropped off Hawks rookie list?

Rumour is he wanted to be upgraded off the rookie list and the Hawks did not want to so he asked be delisted so he could go into the PSD.
Hard to see him fit into our team, he would have to push out Mayne, Mellington, Fyfe and co, We don't have a problem in the mid-sized forward category.

Bad call, players with this type of attitude lose their chances quickly. Davis from WCE a couple of years ago springs to mind.
