Well last weeks score with in the top 2000 so i played a really easy team this week but had a shocker. Now I'm going to be right down the rankings and playing one of the top teams this week! Hopefully they just got a lucky score haha

Yeah I get that bit but i'm not sure the top 64K do actually verse the bottom 64K? Logically that's probably how it should be but going by my opponents in recent years i'm not confident it's top vs bottom teams? Seems more evened out so that bottom teams are versing bottom teams and top teams are eliminating top teams in recent history?

Nope, it's definitely top teams v bottom teams.

If your Eliminator rank for this week is in the top 64k you will definitely play someone from the bottom 64k.

Round 7 ranking = 56,847

Phew. just made it in the top 64,000

hopefully my round 8 ranking will be in the top 32,000 so I will play another easily matchup in Round 9.

Finishing 56,847 should I expect to play a team ranked 56,847 from the bottom ?

if that is the case then it equates to 128,000 - 56,847 = 71,153

or doesn't it work that way ?

Nah its random, you could be playing team 128000 or 64001

I had a horrible week and my score was ranked in the bottom half. Funny how quickly DT can change within a week.

His/her team looks better than a ranking of 113124 suggests, so I'd take a guess that they hadn't even logged in to swap out their Pies players or change captain. With any luck, they'll do the same for you again this week...

his eliminator ranking would be from his round 7 score. Naturally everyone has a lower overall ranking than their Eliminator ranking. I'm roughly 20,000 ranking spots better off overall than what my Eliminator ranking says aswell.

Don't know how he won round 1 matchup then. Around 500 up on his weekly average, don't know how he scored that high.

You should win easily. 400+ atleast

Confident I can beat my opponent but He has a half decent team. His Backline is positively woeful being led by Milburn Heppell and Scarlett. but his forward line of. Riewoldt Riewoldt Stevie J Franklin Pavlich Chapman and Goodes is kinda where he spent his money.

I lose Murphy and Gibbs while he loses Carrazo and Judd. Fair is fair.

It would be interesting to know if any teams on this site are playing each other.

If your opponent doesn't trade, he will be 3 players down, 1 defender, ruck 7 forward.

So needless to say, bare minimum, 1 player down at best

why do people bother joining and putting in pathetic teams like your opponent did ?

You should win by quite a large margin there
