Well I thought I would have a reasonably tough opponent (for week 2 I mean) this week but they have 7 playing players on their bench with 7 donuts on the field and only 1 playing emergency selected. 6 of their 7 donuts could have been avoided with Graham 3rd ruck sitting on bench 'wasted for this round'.

Basically they kept Duigan, Gibbs, Curnow, Garlett on ground as well as Harris, Higgins, Hibberd. N.Krakouer will come in as emergency and reduce it to 6 zeros

On their bench they have all their collingwood players - Dawes, Thomas, Krakouer with none selected as emergencies as well as Tape, Suckling again not emergencies.

I am completely safe now, always confident I had the better team but they wont even come close to their average of 1830.

In big trouble in my eliminator. Based on average this year between the players we have different, I had a projected 3 point win. However, my opponent had Simon Buckley, who just posted double his average whilst sat on my bench.

He now has L Thompson, Watson, Redden, Mitchell, Fyfe, Zaharakis, Darling, Polkinghorne, Dangerfield & 7 points vs

Adcock, Fisher, Puopolo, Sylvia, D Swallow, Pavlich, Franklin, NRoo, Knights & Petrie.

I'm ranked 1,310, they are ranked 125,841 :

Second week of Eliminator and I think I'm screwed already. Matched up against the guy ranked 25 overall. What the hell

So after looking at this guys team his midfield was pretty awesome (Swan, Selwood, Pendles, Chappy and Boyd). I didn't have Pendles or Selwood so decided to get Mitchell for Curnow hoping that he could outscore Pendles or Selwood. Who does this guy trade in? ****ing Mitchell

He went Swan captain like I thought so to try and gain points on him I went for Boyd.

I'm already 166 down with 1 less player so it's not looking good.

Its basically:

Him: 166 + Smith (Ade) + O'Brien (BL) + Johnson (Syd)

VS

Me: Deledio + Lower + Sylvia + Boyd

Basically need my players to fire and his to get poor scores but Smith plays the GC and could get a huge score. Not holding my breath on this one.

Nice to get an eliminator opp on bigfooty. Yeah I was pretty disappointed that you got Mitchell. I was hoping that you wouldn't have enough money to do a decent upgrade but I guess you did. It was Mitchell or Selwood for me and the fact that you already had Selwood made me get Mitchell. Thank god Bartel had that good last quarter or I wouldn't have had a chance against you. Also SJ can go get stuffed

Well done on being ranked 25. I couldn't believe it when I looked at the eliminator match ups and saw your team. Talk about bad luck. Our teams are fairly similar so making up the points against you is going to be tough. I guess having 3 premiums against your guys is going to give a a chance but you've got the points on the board.

Good luck anayway. If I get eliminated I get eliminated. At least I can say it was against a pretty good team.

So now its Boyd + Deledio + Lower Vs 183 points.

Smith being the sub helped and Johnson didn't do very good. Thought Obrien was in for a big one but only got 17 points in the 2nd half for a 67. Just need my 3 players to average 61+ between them which they should be able to manage without too much trouble.

Hoping Darling late withdrawl as we both have him, and I have Dangerfield as my EMG, he has Matera, so that'd give me a bit of a boost.. But yeah, no hope really unless Richmond get smashed by Dogs and his Richmond players play terribly.

What should have been an easy win is now a lot closer than it should be thanks to Watson (C) and Brodie Smith. Plus i must be playing one of the only people to not have Heppell.

Luckily i went Smith (106) over Petrie's 85 point average which turned out a very good move seeing as Petrie got 60. Also planned on trading out Dangerfield last week but due to Grimes and Curnow injuries i was forced to hold onto him. Pulled through with a big 128

Both of us have Deledio, Goddard, Lower and Darling. Then i have -

D.Martin, Shuey, Cox, NRoo, JRoo

v

Libba, Savage, Sandi, Pav and 55 points.

Should still win but you never know. He is about to get his highest score for the season by the looks of it.

Will be pretty close i reckon Butler. You should win, but could lose...all it takes is for a couple of your guns to underperform and a couple of his to overperform and he could fall over the line
