Seriously? You'll beat him by at least 150 pts.

As for my opponent, he didn't change his team from last week and still has many of his guns on the bench. He probably won't even hit 1500.

well when everyone elses eliminator opponent is a Collingwood side or just utter shite, Id say having an opponent coming within 150 is too close for comfort given this is the first eliminator round. One late OUT for me and it will be touch and go.

The bye makes bad teams even worse. Would have been nearly impossible to score a zero for a round b4 this year.

A bit off topic but I think by seeing all these dud teams we're up against it really shows the overall quality of the average DTer.

They've made no arrangement for byes and just don't care to work on their teams from week to week. A bit sad really.

just need gibbs,godd,curnow,murphy,roo,yarran to score a combined 284, should be an easy win

opponent has a decent enough team but not one playing bench player to cover byes/injuries, guess choice of rookies is the difference between good and bad teams

You are surprised? whether you realize this or not, posters on this forum are the hardcore DT'ers. We are using captain loopholes and working out magic numbers and talking trade strategies... Hardly the average player

I'm going to advance, but will probably be in the lower half for next week. The good thing is that next week i will not have Stanton on 34, Grimes on 6, SJ a late WDL, Pendlebury, Swan and Jolly on the bench. Hopefully a much improved score next week.

I managed to win by 98.
My opponent was unlucky that Pendlebury, Shaw, Swan, C Richardson and N Winmar didnt get a game this week. Lucky he had Conca and Cripps as emergencies for all those 5.

Unlucky that he decided Frawley and O'Keefe weren't worth a game this week when they both pulled in tons and decided to just sit them on the bench.

There are 132,000 people left. People from the top 64k play people from the bottom 64k. This is done on your Round 7 weekly ranking.

Yeah I get that bit but i'm not sure the top 64K do actually verse the bottom 64K? Logically that's probably how it should be but going by my opponents in recent years i'm not confident it's top vs bottom teams? Seems more evened out so that bottom teams are versing bottom teams and top teams are eliminating top teams in recent history?
