Up against a team ranked 82k. Should be a straight forward win but he has some players that could do some damage. Comparing our squads though, i don't think I can possibly lose :D

Him Me
Hunt Rawlings
Broughton Enright
Lower Carazzo
Judd Fisher
Embley Monty
Danger Bartel
Watson*Selwood
Hibberd Goodes
Ryder Cox
Sylvia Buddy
Fyfe ROK
Pav Boomer
Dawes Roo
Hurley Jroo
Krak Knights
McKernan Darling

Looks like I got lucky. In bottom half of draw and got someone who scored 1950 last round but averages 1775 - 'Hammertime'. They have a fair few uniques which if they go well could get him the win but otherwise I am reasonably confident. I feared I'd get a team I'd be virtually incapable of beating this week.

What do you think?

Him v Me

Adcock v Scotland
Suckling v Deledio
R.Murphy v Goddard
Jamison v Duffield

Watson (Atley) v Pendlebury
Pavlich v Boyd
Van Berlo v Selwood
Burgoyne v Jacobs
Kerr v Bewick

Johnson v Harvey
Rioli (Tapscott) v N.Riewoldt
Dawes v J.Riewoldt
Maynev Cloke
Krakouer v Knights
Darling v Petrie

I am taking into account the trades I will probably do this week (Selwood + Cloke) and assuming they do none, but I think I have the upper hand.

you should but don't take it too lightly.

Round 9 Matchups are out on the website. Think i'm gone this week.

Moggers All Stars
Round 8 : 2,017
Overall Ranking : 9,623
Average Points Per Round : 1,974.50

DEFENDERS - Deledio, Gibbs, Adcock, Heath Shaw, Heppell, Gram, Duigan/Puopolo (Duigan/Puopolo, Pettigrew, Lester)

MIDFIELDERS - Swan, Bartell, Judd, Mitchell, Conca, Liberatore (Harris, Atley, Irons)

RUCKS - Sanidlands, Warnock (Z.Smith, Derickx)

FORWARDS - Fyfe, Pavlich, Goodes, Dawes, Boomer Harvey, N. Riewoldt, Darling (Tapscott, Matera, Krakouer)

Madisons Marvels
Round 8 : 1,853
Overall Ranking : 37,254
Average Points Per Round : 1898.88

DEFENDERS - Deledio, Heppell, Enright, Goddard, Gram, Pratt, Duigan (Puopolo, Lower, Buckley)

MIDFIELDERS - Pendlebury, Martin, Scott Thompson, Joel Selwood, Mitch Duncan, Hibberd (D.Swallow, Mzungu, Curnow)

RUCKS - Cox, Sandilands (Z.Smith, M.Bailey)

FORWARDS - Sylvia, Fyfe, Pavlich, Goodes, Yarran, Tapscott, I.Smith (Matera, S.McKernan, Cam Richardson)

Players in BOLD are players we SHOULD have different in our starting lineups.

With him most likely having Swan as Captain, that will offset by me having a better Ruck combination. So me picking my captain will also play a major part wether I beat them or not. It's going to rain this weekend and Swan had a much higher DT points tally than Pendlebury so I am cautious picking Pendlebury again.

Sandilands might be a unique and tasty captain as Fremantle play Port over in Adelaide, Pavlich's hometown.

Joel Selwood went very well in the wet last friday night and I can see him doing it again friday night but with the death of Bobby Davis, I don't know if it will affect Geelong in a good inspiring way or a bad sad way.

Got to get my captain selection spot on this week.

Dean Cox would have been perfect to pick but he is carrying a slight leg injury from last Sundays Match and isn't 100% fully fit.

Will probably make up my decision tomorrow night

Up against some pleb ranked 140,000th. his squad doesnt look like it has changed since rd 1, but he should still field a good 20, 21 players.

playing a team that scored 2056 last week. Over rank is 30k odd.

Me Him

Enright Fisher
Buckley Heppell
Lower Duigan
Mitchell Selwood
Cotchin Foley
A.Swallow Shiels
Liberatore Kennedy
Sandilands Ryder
Franklin Chapman
Goodes Knights
Petrie Duncan

Could be very close

Playing another team that looks ok, well at least it looks like the manager logs in and changes his team around. Haven't had a walkover yet but I should win it comfortably, he will be probably starting 3 of Mckernan, Batchelor, Tarrant and Thursfield in his backs and has underperforers like Gilbert & Didak. Rest of his team is solid but not too many out and out guns. His mids at the moment are Pavlich, Carrazzo, Chapman, Didak, Hodge & Pittard

Wow lots of DPP's for that guy in the mids.

I consider both my team and his to be reasonable but amazingly we only have 5 players in common.

Not a single Mid in common and that is generally make or break in my opinion.

Me - Rocky, Murphy, S. Thompson, A. Swallow, Liber, Hibberd

Him - Swan, Chappy, Montagna, Dangerfield, Conca, Pittard, A. Krak (obviously one of last 3 won't play)

4 key backs different

Gonna be fun :)

Ive played a team averaging 1500 each round so far. another easy win by the looks of it. (They have Zac Dawson LOL)

Probably lose mine;

D: Deledio, Lower, Broughton, Puopolo v Adcock, Fisher, Shaw, Hanley, Rance

M: Montagna, Selwood, Jacobs, Mzungu v Pendlebury, Bartel, Liberatore

R: Cox v Hille

F: Franklin, Goodes, Harvey, Chapman, Darling v Fyfe, Dawes, Knights, Petrie, Krak

Already got 1 leg up on him with Selwood outdoing Bartel by a fair bit and Chappy scoring really well. My backline should get smashed, could break even in the mids if Jacobs + Mzungu = Libba. Hope my forwards batter his, going to need a fair advantage there considering the backs and i'm already down a premium with Jobe Watson out.

I managed to get a guy ranked 64k last week who got back Cyril this week, had Lower on the park, and managed to get tons out of Waite and Boak. I'm 8/854 and I'm a big chance to get beaten  he's 9/929 with Cox (C). Hoping for big games from Deledio, Boyd & Swan

ME v Him
DELEDIO, PUOPOLO v Morris, Maguire
SWAN, BOYD (C), THOMPSON, HODGE v Crameri, Sidebottom
FRANKLIN, DIDAK, PETRIE v Dawes, Danger, Higgins, Rioli

I'm 10/1066 he is 11/1124.

I have: He has:

Shaw Adcock
Heppell Hibberd
Puopolo Boyd (c)
Hibberd Heppell
Swan (c) Mitchell
Boyd Libba
Pendlebury Franklin
Cox Goodes
Franklin Knights
Dawes Darling
Knights Krak
Darling

Who wins?!

U have mad it very confusing for yourself. So by deleting the bold (because you both have them)
you : him
Shaw : adcock
Swan (c) : Boyd (c)
Boyd : Mitchell
Puop : Libba
Pendles : Krak
Cox : goodes
Dawes

Now by looking at this format, I reckon you could be in for a tight win.:thumbsu:

I'd rather be 8/854 than 9/929. Going by who's left to play i'd back you in tbh.

Should easily get through again. The opposition has Jobe Watson starting with no EMG playing. Also has Bewick (starting sub) and Tapscott.

I've got a tough match, both have swan as (c) to come

Me 769/7

Deledio, Boyd, Liberatore, Hibberd, Cox, Franklin, Goodes, Petrie

Him 979/10

Gilbee, Griffen, Tippett, Knights, J.Riewoldt +210

My opponent's team is playing the game of their lives. Most of his players have scored season highs and I got Tapscott injured :(

ME: OPPONENT:
Adcock* Lower 119
Carrazzo 73 Reid
Heppell* Hibberd*
Boyd(c) Swan(c)
Pendles Murphy 121
Bartel 77 Selwood 118
Redden* Cross
Libba Cotchin*
Fyfe 120 Burgoyne
N.Riewoldt 134 Markovic
Tapscott 16 Newton 69

My opponent, who averages 1700, is set for a 2300+ score. Here's the equation ...

Me: Swan x2, Boyd, Liberatore, Knights, Darling + 104 pts
Him: Pendlebury, Goodes, Rob Murphy, Buckley, Didak, Krakouer, Suckling

I've got Pendlebury but he has him capt. He has no Swan. Will be close either way.

Thoughts?
