My opponent, who averages 1700, is set for a 2300+ score. Here's the equation ...

Me: Swan x2, Boyd, Liberatore, Knights, Darling + 104 pts
Him: Pendlebury, Goodes, Rob Murphy, Buckley, Didak, Krakouer, Suckling

I've got Pendlebury but he has him capt. He has no Swan. Will be close either way.

Thoughts?

I reckon you'll win by 100 points or so, because swanny (C) and boyd should net you 350-400 points. plus krak may be the sub for him.




as for my game, im in trouble but not dead and buried.

Me: Priddis, ROK, Franklin + 5 points

Him: Puopolo, Gilbee, Knights, Goodes.

- If puopolo doesnt play, he has lower emergency =/. Personally I reckon there's a good chance puopolo wears the vest if he plays, which would definitely help my cause.
- It's 3 against 4, but my players are better quality, so I have a glimmer of hope.

Unfortunately for you, you will need something out of the blue to happen for you to win. Priddis/Franklin are capable of a massive score and you will need that to happen. On the flipside Goodes is also capable of such feats.

Here's my current situation. After copping a Tapscott injury I was lucky to get massive scores tonight to even up the ledger.

You need Puops to be sub (but i hope he isn't ) and Knights to not get near it against the Pies

Will be close, but If one of his players puts in a blinder, you could be in strife

I'm doing it easy which is nice, was a tough week last week and good to get a weak opponent as it allowed me a double downgrade for an upgrade next week

Already got 1 leg up on him with Selwood outdoing Bartel by a fair bit and Chappy scoring really well. My backline should get smashed, could break even in the mids if Jacobs + Mzungu = Libba. Hope my forwards batter his, going to need a fair advantage there considering the backs and i'm already down a premium with Jobe Watson out.

What do you guys reckon? I'm probably gone.

I reckon you might be ok if 2 of Franklin, Goodes or Cox pulls a monster and only 1 of Pendles and Shaw go nuts

If Krak is sub, that will go a long way to you winning

My gut feel is that you will win by about 40 points.... Just a feeling, good luck!

If Kerr, Krak, Davis and McKernan do OK I will be in trouble.

I'd say it'll be within 50 points either way, but I reckon you have the edge. he has Kerr who is under an injury cloud at the moment, as well as mckernan who will be lucky to score 50 against the pies.

The danger for you is Davis and Krak. If neither are affected by the sub, then they should have an arm chair ride against the crows. it is a game that should really suit the front runners.

I still think you have the edge though

You should just hold your opponent off, I guess it comes down to whether or not Libba and kennedy play to the averages or beyond? I'd expect Cox to pull 100 or so against Hudson.

Didak sub hurt me as did putting L.Thompson on ahead of Lower, lucky my opponent has such spuds as Harry O, Atley, Wallis on ground, and etc etc

I ground out a 2273-2267 victory. Happy to remain in the competition after some mistakes made on team selection!! I'll eventually get the "C" and bench selection right one week!

I'm out, lost 2343 to 2285.

Tapscott and having Swan captain was the difference, he had Selwood captain.

Disappointing but in reality it's pretty hard to make it through to the end anyway.
