Got lucky in that he also has Swan and Montagna out otherwise I'd be in real trouble.

However he will be using Curnow as cover and me probably Iles which I think should give him an advantage since Curnow should do very well VS Bris. Across the mids though I've got Selwood and Boyd vs Judd and Foley which is probably fairly even, although hopefully a slight advantage to me.

Shaw vs Adcock should advantage me, with the rest of the backline very similar and pretty even.

Up forward I have Chappy SJ NRiewoldt and Petrie vs Fyfe ROK Boomer and Dawes.

On paper I'm confident I'll win but it's by far my toughest opponent so far and I could well lose if 2 or 3 of my premiums are down.

Playing against the Baggies, who has a great side. Not looking good at all even though they were ranked 5070 last week

Looks like he traded Montagna for Murphy just to make my life very difficult.

Although Boyd was much better than Dal Santo tonight which keeps me in it, but it's gonna be tough.
 
They traded Knights -> Didak and Stanley -> Broughton while i went Stanley -> Howard and Bewick -> Rischitelli.

Should be close but I am very worried that Heppell will be a sub this week (Trip to the West, players back from injury, Brown sub last week) and I'm a little paranoid in thinking Curnow or Knights could also be a sub. Also worried that Cox, their captain, will destroy the Crows.

If my inconsistent forwards - particularly Lecras and Knights - stand up i think it will be very close even though they are about 5000 places ahead of me in overall ranking.

I'm hoping that Didak cops a tag from Bartram, otherwise I can see him scoring big through the midfield. Also looking for Thompson, Selwood and Harvey to bounce back for me this week.

Once again I quite unexpectedly find myself in the box seat. 1584/15 + C vs 1187/12 + C

Scotland + Heppell + Duffield + Curnow + 397

vs

Murphy + Goodes + Pavlich + Adcock + Broughton + Didak + Lower

As long as I avoid any early injury/sub rule I am likely to win. Kudos to Harvey, Petrie, Rischitelli and Selwood's (C) last quarter for setting up this position as well as Darling + Cox (C) doing poorly for them.

Main worry is that Curnow and/or Heppell will start as a sub/subs but otherwise am confident.

I'll be in real trouble if Sylvia is a late out, otherwise I'd hope to win.

Even if Sylvia's out I think you have a real shot at winning that. If he plays I would think you would win reasonably comfortably (50-100) but you never know.


Unless a miracle occurs for them I am home.

Probably about 100-150+ point win coming up against someone ranked about 400 overall and I'm about 5500. Heading for 2200 so should be in top half next week too.

Well, thanks to Darling and Chapman (the two severe under-performers my opponent didn't have), I need Sylvia to score less than 61 points to win my eliminator match.

Putting Darling in over Mzungu at the last minute is probably going to cost me my match. Also doesn't help when my opponent doesn't have Chappy, Adcock, Knights or Goodes. Although my opponent does have Mundy so I probably deserve to lose anyway.

At the moment its

Shaw vs Green + 30

Looking at their last two scores against each other, Shaw (64, 49) and Green (115, 95), its not looking good for
me :(
 
I need Didak to score 103 to get through.

Hoping he gets a decent run through the middle with Swan, Thomas and Beams missing but he's only hit 100+ once this year so not confident.
 
Still alive - just. It's down to Sylvia + 75 v Buckley and Pendles.
