Just wish had gone Ablett as Captain instead of Boyd, which has been worst performed player so far. Kudos to Max Bailey, covering for Smith and Sandi with an 84!!!

yep the miracle happened - 1983 vs 1880. against a guy rated 1300ish.

thru to the final 2000 - not bad with a ranking of 50000 overall and a team solely made up of non vic club players. damn hard trying to find players to upgrade to.

Final 2000-odd I believe.

Really would like to draw an opponent with the same players I have on the pine (Goddard, Roo & Buddy) and hopefully more (Montagna, Sandi would be nice).

Definitely focussed on making it as far as I can in eliminator now, will angle my trades to cover/gain advantage over my opponents apparent weaknesses where possible.

Me too. Got to final 256 last year with a pretty poor team, hoping to get to final 64 this year but that is highly unlikely.

Really hope I can at least get to the point where I get Sandilands back playing for me which will be round 15 or 17 I believe. Definitely can't see myself lasting through round 16 with Sylvia, Thompson, Duffield, Sandilands (Mzungu, L.Thompson) out but if I get to then will probably 'burn' 2 trades anyway in an attempt to stay alive.

For the final 64 I think we could make a BF ladder.

Ive got 'The Crabbies' this week, ranked 500 spots ahead of me averaging 5 points more a game. Going to be the toughest game so far by a fair bit. Have almost identical backlines but alot of points of difference everywhere else.
